Melo to Houston for Capela and Anderson
Melo waives his trade kicker and salaries are very close to matching
Ntilikina and Lee and Oquinn plus 2019 and 2021 unprotected picks for Kyrie and he has to agree to contract extension with Knicks
Ryan Anderson to Orlando for Bismarck Biyombi
Play out the year with Noah and then in 2018 stretch provision his remains 35 million. 5 years 7 million cap relief
Bismarck gives Knicks an athletic defensive rebounding player
Anderson gives magic the ability to hit the 3 to stretch the floor
Lance Thomas and future 2nd round pick to philly for Justin Anderson
Knicks lineup
Capela
KP
Beasley
Hardaway
Kyrie
Bench
Wily
Biyombi
Kuz
Dotson
Sessions. Baker
In my dreams but not bad for a wannabe Knicks GM
Cause we are taking Biyombi
They're not common. Brooklyn traded a 2018 unprotected to boston. Sacto traded an unprotected 2019 to Philly.
Im not sure where you get the authority to speak so authoritatively. In particular, I could see Kyrie traded here after the season for less than KP.
eh, wouldn't surprise me to see Morey sell high on him before they have to pay him.
I also agree that it isn't likely that a deal structured on Capela/Anderson for Melo will fly w HOU.
But I do think a deal may be modified to include Hernangomez.
If the NYK could get Ariza/Gordon for salary purposes + Capela + Troy Williams in exchange for Melo/WH, the Knicks would be better off than any deal I've seen proposed thus far. To have a youthful foundation of KP, CC, TW, DD, THJ, FN and even RB and have trade chips of Ariza + Gordon or Lee, that is the way to properly start the post Melo era. I understand Capela will need to be paid next summer, but so be it.
I love WH but I do wonder if he and KP will be able to coexist especially defensively. Getting a defensive stud like Capela solves a lot of defensive concerns.

At no point ever will kyrie be a knick for anything but k p. And the knicks would be idiots to do that

I believe hitdog has a friend in the Cavs front office (I believe that is what he said, I might be wrong).

Ok and lets see what happens next summer if Lebron leaves and Kyrie makes it clear, Paul George style, that he's a goner. What if Willy is a 16 and 11 center with defense rounding into form? What if Frank looks surprisingly good early on? What if the Knicks have a top 5 pick to dangle?
The notion that "At no point ever will kyrie be a knick for anything but k p." as hitdog says is just dumb.
I agree with Dan. Capela and Willy have more value to their current teams than they would to the opposite teams if traded for eachother.
Apologies for having facts instead of dumb trade ideas and incorrect opinions

I worked very hard on my dumb trade ideas, thank you very much!
I believe the rules on extensions have changed. You can still get mega bucks if you re-up early. Guys like Westbrook, Harden, and Wall have done it. But I think you need to make all-nba or some nonsense like that to get the highest amounts.

Your truth is actually a prediction of the future based on imperfect information, including Kyrie's demands, what the Knicks have to offer, and timing.
You're telling me that if Kyrie demands out next summer, Lebron walks, and the Knicks have the #1 or #2 overall pick, that Cleveland doesnt listen to an offer based around the pick, possibly plus Frank or Willy?
That's not the "truth". That's just a prediction. Not even the Cavs' GM knows what he's going to have to consider on Kyrie next summer, or in a year and a half.
Fans threw around love/Melo ideas for weeks- facts were zero chance.
Fans have thrown around kyrie trades for weeks not including kp. Chances are zero-
If you want to throw around future hypotheticals unrelated to anything anyone has discussed in an effort to try to make my comments seem offbase--- then pls enjoy wasting your time
