There will be a flood of players cut on this date and there WILL be a few players available that will be better than what'll be on our roster. What positions do you think the Giants will be scoping out.? What players do you think might not make thier current squads and will be cut based on the team having a lot of depth at the position?
What? He was clearly the best LB on the team last year.
Here's a link to Carl Banks showing you the video of Casillas making plays you missed.

Veteran OL is what I want.....stabilize all these kids
I just do not see us finding better S nor corners....
Good counter point. But Casillas was also calling plays. I think you could successfully argue your point
I liked James Conner coming out of school, but I'm not sure he's going to be very effective at short yardage in the NFL, particularly if the OL isn't opening holes. He needs some time and space to build up momentum. He doesn't just explode.
FS back up is either Adams or Thompson. One is the starter and one will be back up. Do you(and the others) think they will cut Adams for someone?
but the positions that I think we will most look to upgrade are CB, LB and RB. These are the positions that seem to have the most opportunity on the back end of the roster.
As much as I would like OL upgrades, that is only likely if a decent vet shakes loose. Even then they are more likely to be a backup/depth guy.
The way the Giants are situated with depth of talent (barring injury), we will almost certainly be shedding guys we like, particularly at WR, DE and TE.
I would say we are 2 corners short, maybe a CB and a guy that can give us a S/CB backup like Hall did last year.
Absolutely, Perhaps they can trade a TE for some safety depth. Adams is a lock and a solid backup but the Giants need to find a better option than Berhe.
What I most wish for (realistically) Vet Swing Tackle.
Power RB would be great but someone worthy of a roster spot probably would require at least a low level trade imo.
In the same genre, 7th rounder Elijah Hood has generated some buzz in Oakland. I doubt he'll see the waiver wire either, though the 242nd selection is never safe. The Raiders took Hood with the pick immediately after the one NYG dealt to move up in round six for Bisnowaty.
Big UDFA backs more likely to hit waivers include De'Veon Smith (MIA), Corey Clement (PHI), and Tion Green (DET). I'm not sure any of them are better than Khalid Abdullah, who appears headed for the Giants' practice squad, at best.
