The service just cut its monthly rate from $50/month to $9.95/month. The concept is that you get to see one movie per day in theaters. You need to be near the theater and then select the movie time and Moviepass will fund the debit card they give you and you use that to purchase your ticket.
Curious on anyone's experience with this?
Movie theaters will bitch and moan, but at the end of the day it makes more sense to buy one of the passes if you go to the movies at least once a month.
Once they have a huge portion of the market, they will then be able to theoretically badger the theaters down in price because they are buying bulk amount of tickets. Should be interesting to see what happens.

I didn't see anything about # per household. They are probably banking on the fact that most family's will want 2-4 subscriptions. She probably just needs her own account. M
