Does anyone know why Mangold is still a FA? Is he still hurt? I'm surprised another team hasn't approached him about Guard or Center starter or back-up duty.

I guess he doesn't need the $ for a reduced role and may not want to play for a smaller pay day then he is used to.

He will get picked up, at some point.

He missed 8 games last year with an ankle

he can afford to wait. And also wait for some injuries to hit or some rookie to fail. Teams know who he is. He will get a job if he wants one IMO

Marty...That's what I was assuming, but a lot of times, by this time in the pre-season when the heaviest part of "training camp" is over, is when if a team makes a move before the end of pre-season they do it.
