And we line up in a run formation with Engram on one side and Ellison on the other. Run fake to Ellison's side and a quick block by Engram to sell the run before he starts sprinting down the sideline. Eli puts it up for Engram to run under for a nice big gain. Who's going to stop that? Just getting excited for our rookie!

would be establishing, at a minimum, a power running game that can consistently pick up 3rd/4th and short (<2 yds) on the ground. Then go heavy set (2 TEs + FB) with Beckham out wide. One false step by the safety and Beckham's behind the D for the TD. And if the safety holds his position, then you have a hat on a hat with the RB only needing to make one guy miss if everyone else does his job.

The only problem with a power running game . . . .

I find it interesting tho we've tended not to use it much under TC or w/ Eli as QB, we used it at least 2x in the 2007 playoffs fwiw (vs DAL & GB iirc)

I'm ok with minimizing hits on Eli. But IMO that doesn't mean you never run it. Just the threat helps open other options

....does that give us the opportunity to insert OG Fluker who is WAY BETTER at run blocking than Jerry? I'm not sure you rotate in OG's like that???

This OL will be better than last year's version if healthy but will NOT be a smash mouth unit by any means. I do believe we have potential to be smash mouth on the left side with Ellison, Flowers and Pugh and Richburg pulling - that is a strong possibility.
