Looking to join a week 1 tailgate in Dallas

G-MEN : 8/21/2017 4:35 pm
Hey BBI,

I'm a Los Angeles native and life-long Giants fan. I'll be in Dallas for week one, and will be attending the game alone.

I came here wondering if there will be a BBI tailgate, gathering of Giants fans, or personal tailgate I could join.

I would be more than happy to bring beer, food, monetary compensation, or anything else your tailgate needs.

A little about myself:
I'm a 24 year old male, two years removed from graduating from USC in Los Angeles. I currently make a living working with children with autism spectrum disorder, both in schools and at home. I'd consider myself to be a sensible, courteous, and enjoyable person to be around.

If anyone is looking to add another Giants fan to their tailgate, I would love to meet you and simply have a great time before the game.

Thanks!
Brian
Do you enjoy long walks on the beach?

runs one, i went last year, bus to and from dallas to the stadium. Had lots of food, beer, a TV or two to watch the 1 oclock games. Think all in all it costed 150 bucks which included transport. Probably one of your better options.

I'm sure you can find a bunch of Giants fans at the stadium tailgating.

There's a dive bar in Addison/Carrollton that's a Giants bar. It's called Buffalo Joe's. Addison/Carrollton is a suburb north of Dallas. It's nothing special, but they usually fill the place up with Giants fans. It's a good time.

I'm probably going to go to another dive bar, but will be watching with a bunch of my buddies that are Cowboys fans. It's a ton of shit-talking the entire time and a great time.

Respond here if you're interested in joining in and I'll shoot you my email/cell.

From one Brian to another!

Brian

Just realized you'll be attending the game, so certainly won't be going to a dive bar.

I think you can easily find pockets of Giants fans tailgating at the game.

that deal doesn't sound bad at all. Do they do that for home games as well?
Sweet!

Thank you all for this great info, and thanks for the invite Brian (Jules). I'd absolutely take you up on it if I weren't going to the game :).

and search for Giants fans in Dallas. I forget the exact name of the group but it shouldn't be hard to find. These guys have a huge tailgate in one of the parking lots before every Giants game in Dallas. I've visited with them three times and it's always great! They've got grills set up so you can bring your food and cook away. Always tons of Giants fans there.
Will do,
