These guys are challenging Madden and Summerall for best duo ever. Really, really well done and extremely entertaining. Great job! ESPN does it again. Psyched for the new season if this is the all star squad.
McDoughna was talking about all of OBJs "drama", citing his controversy with "teammates". Then Chucky chimes in with overly enthusiastic fluffing of some nonsense like "the Browns took an unprecedented 4 wide receivers in the draft and I'm really excited to see how that works out". That was all needed to remind me that there's almost no reason to listen to any of the TV broadcasters.

You can't even spell his name correctly. Twice. How can anyone possibly take you seriously?
RE: I've been on mute, didn't even realize Rex had this gig
I assume it's as bad as one could expect with Rex in the booth?
You can tell he's new to it, still working out when to talk, how long he's got between plays, etc. ane was incredibly subdued for how you would expect Ryan to be based on his personality. I'd go so far to say he was pretty bland.
Which is surprising as he's a veteran at it and had plenty of years to prepare for this big of a gig. But he's really awful. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he'd dumped next season.

Granted, I expected horrible from him. A couple of times he did a nice job talking about scheme, but I expect the producers at ESPN will make sure to remind him that nobody watching a football game cares about players and scheme, they want catch phrases, screaming and funny stories.
And I didn't think Rex was so bad for a novice announcer
Totally. Like I said. Much better.

Seriously?
admittedly I haven't heard them yet and they could be fantastic, but that was my first initial thought after hearing Rexy.
Just speak your mind Rex, that is why you got the job in the first place.
