Ben McAdoo quips that the Cowboys' secondary looks different in 2017. "If you know who's playing corner for them, you can let me know."

is even a real thing? IMO it only comes into play when something bad happened on the field from a revenge standpoint. If Jason Garret said our OLine stinks I don't miraculously think they play better.

This is fan stuff.
Yes and no. If it's Giants-Jags in the middle of the season, then it might give them a little extra emotion in an otherwise inconsequential game (relatively speaking). For the season opener against the division rival that is your main competition for the division again? If your emotions/energy level weren't already maxed for that, you should call it quits.

I think it's absolutely a thing. All athletes are motivated by different things. Some are motivated by money, some are motivated by ego and some are motivated by anger. That doesn't mean that guys automatically will play better, but certain guys do when they are fueled.
there's no way to measure it so there's no way to be right or wrong, I just find it to be one of the many things fans like to believe in. There are cases when I can see a player getting a bit more fired up because of something that was said or done, but this doesn't seem like one of them.
This could be 1 of the worst discussion topics ever. Â
the other is that he's implying they replaced their entire secondary.
that's how I took it, it was simply a statement.
He also said "we have a lot of respect for Scandrick" and mentioned the cowboys drafted a lot of young talent
Clutch Points "articles" on Facebook. They lead off with some over-the-top headline, and then when you click on the article, you realize it is the most mundane quote that someone spun an entire article out of.
He has no interest in creating bulletin board material Â
Are the two primary corners, Jeff Heath at SS and Byron Jones at FS. There are a few rookies as back ups, but I'm sure Mac knows who these guys are, especially after Carrol picked off Eli last year or year before. I'm sure he was being a little sarcastic, but also that they brought in a bunch of new guys.
Doesnt mean shit. When Weeb Ewbank was furious with Namath after he made his guarantee, Namath said something like" "if they need bulletin board material like that, they are in trouble" obvious paraphrase, but y'all know what I"m talking about.
RE: Ben McAdoo UTTERLY DESTROYS Dallas secondary Â
thats cool, now go out and dial up some shit and drop 40 on em....then post game say....
i STILL dont know who plays corner for them, can anyone tell me?

I have grown accustomed to the media attempting to create controversy where none really exists. The advent of 24/7 coverage has made this necessary.
What I have a difficult time understanding is why so many people get sucked into this type of exploitation.
Does anyone who would just pause to think about it rationally, really believe the calculating MacAdoo, would purposely diss an opponent.
Context and tone used to count for a lot in determining one s meaning. Not so much anymore.

so yeah not so much savage
and so could hundreds of pimply boys sitting in basements in their underwear.
My interpretation is that McAdoo doesn't know who is playing CB for the Cowboys and if you do, let him know.
I'm sure pro football players weren't motivated by playing against OBJ and the rest of the crew and will be now.
Give me a break.
I see you get ClutchPoints in your feed, also.

Ha ha ha. This is funny, yet I hate it at the same time. The sensationalistic press drives me crazy.
