We're talking about practice. Not a game, not a game, not a game. We're talking about practice. Not a game. Not the game. We're talking about practice, man. How silly is that?
if semi-serious (i.e 1+ months). That said, IIRC, if you're on PUP to start the regular season, you're out a minimum of 6 weeks so not a huge difference between the two.
That's horrible. You want to see great players play (unless they are on the Eagles, Cowboys, or Redskins). The one silver lining is if they are indeed truly terrible this year once again, they have a shot at the Sam Darnold sweepstakes, and even if they miss on him, there are several other highly thought of QBs expected to be in the 2018 draft. They have to get a legit franchise QB. What I saw of Kizer, is that he is a ways away, and perhaps will never be. They are smart to see what they have in him over 16 games. Perhaps he really is the answer.
Next year, in addition to all of their 2018 regular draft picks, they will have:
Texans' first and second round draft picks
Eagles' second round draft pick
Panthers' fourth round pick
Possibly Chiefs' fifth round pick (conditional)
Steelers' sixth round pick
Possibly Colts' seventh round pick (conditional)
Even throwing out the late rounders, that's 5 picks in the first two rounds...pretty good. Perhaps this will end up being a blessing in disguise for them in 2018/2019.
I read somewhere that he was the most hyped pass rush prospect
Thats not how the PUP works - once you pass your physical at the beginning of training camp you cant be placed on it
If a player practices just once aren't they not eligible for the pup? He'd ha e to be put on IR and brought back but I think that is an 8 week thing.

hopefully it's a PUP situation and he can play after 6 weeks or whatever. They've had 2 really good drafts, I like what they are doing now.

That's correct, meant IR.

Which was more highly regarded out of college?
Which was more highly regarded out of college?
IMO Clowney. He was a bit better known and for more pub At
S Carolina IMO. Also a much better college player for me as well.
They should give up on Kizer already?
yeah they have gone through about a dozen starting QBs in about 8 years and I dont think any of them had a serious injury issue.
