Philly Sports Bars for this Sunday - Suggestions

ELI THE GOAT : 9/7/2017 3:57 pm
Coming to Philadelphia for the weekend.

I am looking for suggestions on a Sports Bar that has the NFL Package and a good scene and good food for the early games on Sunday.

Also, any suggestions I can take the misses out to dinner before the Giants kick off?

Staying at the Kimpton Hotel Monacco

Thank you.

I actually have been there before as well. It is a great place to watch a game. They don't like giants fans around those parts, but it might not be all that crowded on a sunday night with the regular PHI fans.
Here's a suggestion.

I do it all the time. You'll be fine.
Any bar with a tv

will have the game on so go to whatever bar has the best brew selection for your tastes. And you can wear as much Giants gear as you want. It's not the 90s anymore and the Eagles fans have become pussified.
Red Owl might have TVs

Not a sports bar, but a good restaurant with good food.

Walk down to 2nd Street. Khyber might have TVs. Plough and the Stars does. 2nd City Brewing does, I believe. Buffalo Billiards isn't far, either.

I'm not a big fan of chain sports bars

but Fox and Hound is probably the best for what you're looking for. Lots of TVs, close to 30 I believe. Typical bar food. Wings are actually have decent. I haven't been there since I got Sunday Ticket, and that's 10+ years, but that was my spot when the Giants weren't nationally televised.

Khyber has two TVs at the bar and their beer selection and food is awesome. 2nd St is definitely a good choice with multiple options. There is also Irish Pol on Market St just east of 2nd.
