I guess the League didn't want poor 'ol Zeke to feel singled out. Seems weird the league "launched another investigation" into Brown's misconduct so far after the decision last year.

4 game suspension as well for misconduct back from 1987...

lets just say "inquiring minds want to know"...
IMO, unless there's a real dearth of kicking talent out there, it looks like his career might be done.

😜😜
I would hope that nobody is disputing the fact that both of these guys are dirtbags, I think they're focusing more on different treatment by the league.
TBH, I think Brown got off light the first time around. The timing of the whole Elliot circus is a joke, but it doesn't have much to do with Brown.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was a "racially-sensitive" move, at least in part.
I think a 6 game suspension is a joke, on any level.
and he wasnt getting a job this year anyway. So this seems a little dated and pointless, but certainly not worth losing sleep or otherwise having a strong opinion about.
Ray Rice lost his livelihood and subsequently hurt not only him but his wife. Does anyone think that Ezekiel will lose his job and ability to support himself by playing football.

Josh Brown got off easier as a white dirtbag than a lot of black dirtbags. You've got that and the whole Kaepernick thing that just won't die, and now Michael Bennett lying about how the police treated him in Vegas.

how is a 6 game suspension a joke? that is nearly half the season and the associated salary that comes with it. and how do you know Michael Bennett lied? the matter is still under investigation but at a minimum there is a video showing that he was handcuffed and had a gun pointed at his head because he "looked suspicious".
Last I heard, Michael Bennett greatly exaggerated what happened. Maybe he didn't lie. Whether he lied or he didn't wasn't really the point.
I think 6 games is a joke. Its not a very harsh penalty at all.

who hurt his wife. Who cares? Just because you may think the league has an inconsistent policy, or some misguided belief that Jerry Jones secretly runs the league, or that Elliott is the biggest turd in history should not obscure the fact that Josh Brown is also a giant turd.

I disagree, I am not saying what Brown did was OK I'm not condoning it at all. That being said Brown admitted what he did wrong he seek counseling for it and tried to get better. Zeke has never admitted to doing anything wrong lost one child to a miscarriage and another one later on because of what he did to her and somehow Josh Brown the guy who's look to get help and to admit what he did wrong is the guy that they keep going after amazing.
I wouldn't blame any innocent black man for feeling threatened by police in certain situations, to be honest. Given all the bullshit that has gone on, especially in recent years. I'd probably feel nervous and want to get away from it too.
especially with the wording (condoning sitting).
I heard that Josh Brown does not want to have an appeal. His suspension counts now even though he is not on a roster. He wants to play again and somehow thinks that this is possible. By not appealing, he becomes eligible after week 6 instead of whenever the appeal process (+ probably 6, but maybe 5 because he already was suspended 1 game) finishes.
IMO, unless there's a real dearth of kicking talent out there, it looks like his career might be done.
He's not allowed to watch a game on TV until week #7
So my assumption is that after the new information came to light, they opened a new investigation (last year). After this new investigation they came to the conclusion that the actions were worthy of a longer suspension.
