NFT: Question for software junkies...MS-Office 365

mavric : 9/8/2017 12:16 pm
Microsoft Office - "Personal Subscription" is being sold for 34.99.

Includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, etc. Which is a great price in my opinion. So there must be a catch.

It also states that it is a "1-year subscription". Does that mean that in 1 year after it is activated, that it just stops working and you have to buy another subscription?

The software is disabled if you don't renew.

Has or is shifting to a Software-As-A-Service (SaSS) model.

Expect to pay some type of subscription (Annual, Multi Year, Monthly) for just about everything.
Yeah, it will disable itself when your year is up.

I'll just stick to my old copy of Office. It works fine and I own it.
