Glad to hear he is confident, sometimes thats half the battle. We just need him to be better than last year, if all of the OL are just better than last year it will be an improved unit.
I am confident that Flowers will be better with more strength and conditioning this year, sounds like Hart will be better. I think Pugh will be very solid as he has been. Hopefully Richburg will be better, I have not really heard much on his play. Jerry is the biggest IF, he has looked bad.
On a serious note - I do too. It sounds absurd to hear it, but you have to respect guys who make it to become an NFL starter. He clearly is a hard worker who has transformed his body and is getting his technique down. He's made huge improvements and is right to think this way.
I'm rooting for him all the way.
This kid works his tail off. He completely changed his body
putting a little too much stock into the PFF preseason ratings. (And no - I don't know where he came out on those)
Wonder if he should let the good folks @ Madden 2018 know this so they can adjust the ratings given him too.
Well, he didn't surrender a single pressure during the entire preseason, so I'm sure he graded out pretty well. I think his YOY improvement was pretty evident in the preseason; hopefully he carries that success into the regular season now.
There's nothing wrong with it. an offensive linemen with no confidence is one on the way out of the league. Even Eli had a brief moment where he shared his honest opinion of himself.
And if you believe you're the best Right Tackle because you're getting laid, or because you're not getting laid, or because you wear women's underwear, then you are!
I was totally impressed to learn that Hart and Flowers spent the winter in NJ working out to become better players. That is never done. Florida players Florida people hate the cold like you wouldn't believe. When it's 60 degrees, heavy coats and gloves come out. I don't know if these guys are going to be good and personally I would settle for ok but if they fail,it won't be for lack of effort
A single sack, hurry or pressure in the preseason. He wasn't playing backups either. We don't need him to be the best. We just need him to be better then last year.

Eli said he was in Tom Brady's class. The world laughed at him. Then he went out and won his 2nd Super Bowl. (Then Flacco went and did the same thing a year later.)
"I know I'm the best right tackle in the league," Hart told NJ Advance Media. "So I just have to act like it every day. You just can't act like it some days and then some days you don't. It's just an every day thing."
This is 'fake it to make it,' not him being out of his mind. Even later he says:
Quote:
I know I'm going to be the best. I know I'm the best already. I've just got to prove it to myself more than anything."
In context that's a very different meaning than the cherry picked hyperbole on it's own

And you all should know that...

Hart will absolutely be better than last year.
And we all know why...
Dare to be great, I say.
I like his confidence in his abilities, but in the words of Tom Coughlin:
Talk is Cheap, Play the game
...best right tackle in Pop Warner.

Reese .... still the "sly fox".
She looks like a melty stick of butter wearing a dress that fell on the floor of a greasy spoon.
So hot ... The way the shadows of her arms (on the window) make her look like a Manta Ray (female of course).
