Helped the team to the playoffs his first two seasons as a full time starter and both the wild card losses that ended those years can more than fairly be blamed on defenses that were utterly decimated by injuries , especially the 2006 squad.
Maybe I'm more patient than most but at no point, even after the 2007 Vikings disaster (which I was at) did I lose faith in Eli or think he was a bust
