Bears sign DE Akeem Hicks to 4 Year Extension

The Chicago Bears signed the defensive end to a four-year, $48 million contract extension with $30 million guaranteed, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Saturday. Hicks is now under contract in Chicago through 2021.

I think JPP got 4 for 62 with 40 gtd

Hicks gets 4 for 48 with 30 gtd

Hicks makes maybe three mil per year less (12 mil per for Hicks, 15 per for JPP) but Hicks isn't on the same planet as JPP in regards to ability/talent

Not many effective pass rushers out there to be had
