The perspective is that I believe JT Thomas played more snaps in the preseason than Smith. He is expected to share time with Justin Durant who is a journeyman who has averaged 6 starts per the last 4 seasons.
Dallas has a lot of good players to 'worry' about. At this time, Smith is not one of them.
