Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 2 days ago, there was little hope #NYG WR Odell Beckham would play vs. #Cowboys. Thanks to round-the-clock rehab, he's now a game-time call |

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet High-ankle sprains like Odell Beckham suffered can take 4 weeks to heal. Today marks fewer than 3. But there's more optimism today than Fri. |
Yeah, can they kinda' figure that out during practice instead...
I'm with you... feel the same way!
Biggest quote imo: "Game planned as if he were not playing" Garapolo
There is no blessing in disguise when it comes to losing an elite WR. Now Dallas can play single coverage across the board and bring S's closer to line of scrimmage to stop the run because they don't have to worry about Odell Beckham Jr. The place to figure out how to run an offense without him is practice or preseason, not Week 1 in Dallas.
At this point gotta sit him and hope he's able to come back next week with the extra day rest against Detroit.
But consider that Marshall & Shepard are complimentary players. By their lonesome, they are not winning anything. It would be nice to see the running game jell in Werk 1, instead of Week 13, for a change. That would certainly help.
It's not asking a lot for him to be the #1 receiver for one game.
