Looking forward to the game, but I wish Florida wasn't getting destroyed while I'm watching football. Doesn't seem right to get too excited about any of the games. Hoping for the best for everyone down in Florida.
Doubt OBJ plays. Wouldn't it be great to see Perk rush for 200 yards on this soft Dallas D? I know Engram is a rook in his first game, but it would great to see him with a big game too. I hope the defense plays with heavy hands and a nasty attitude!
Dallas sucks!
Steve Smith Sr. Was on NFL Network comparing Janoris Jenkins
anything since high ankle sprains linger. This year they (may) have the personnel to establish a and running game and an overall offense that's not so dependent on one player, may as well start figuring out to what extent that can be a reality. Still have weapons all over the field with Marshall, Shepard, and Engram.

the addition of Marshall and Engram should be enough to let OBJ sit this game out.
Just. One out of this games healthy! Long season that should be great if the pieces fall in place. I want to see how Goodson, Thompson, Apple, Hart, Flowers, Bromley, Tomlinson, and Perkins do tonight. These are the key players this season. Who among these will emerge as a breakout player this season? I will watching this group all year.
If the blocking holds up I look for Tavares King to have a big game. He has shown that he can get open for deep throws or out run the defense to the end zone after an intermediate route. Like him much more than Lewis

Whether Odell plays or not, it still boils down to the guys up front. We need a good effort from the OL. If we get that, then I think we have enough on offense to get it done.
We know the D will play well
We know Eli, if given time by the OL, will play well
We know the WR's, if the OL gives them time, will get open
We know that Perkins will run, if the OL creates holes
Cut the crap OL. Its not about individual talent, which supposedly we have a lot of, its about functioning as a unit. No more missed assignments.
I am looking more forward to see this defense play a full game together rather than the O.
It goes without saying I hope the offense blows the doors off with or without OBJ but I still think this team goes as far as our D takes us.
This D can be real special this year providing the few new spot's can prove their worth? The MLB & DT position are still a question, as much as I like the players currently it's still a question mark. I am not as concerned with the back-end as many are and think we are solid more depth sure but every team wishes that.
Tonight I think Snacks is the key not with stopping the run but disrupting the pocket. I think Dak will be scrabbling left and right straight into JPP & OV's hands. The running game will be a non factor for them in this game IMO they will be forced to be one dimensional.
OBJ may be a Willis Reed situation. TD pass on the second play of the
If he is healthy and in shape I think he can do enough to offset what we lose with OBJ . He is capable of getting

effectively and can sustain some long drives convert some
early TD's our defense will give us the edge .
Against the left side of the Dallas line. They don't have a guard to put between Frederick and Smith, and Snacks/Bromley might have a big game tonight.
the key to this game will be long, sustained, clock eating drives on offense that keep the ball away from Dak and the Dallas O. Go dominate the time of possession.
expect the Cowboys to blitz Eli a lot if Beckham doesn't play. He's immobile, and they need to protect their secondary. I think Engram is the key. He immediately shows why the Giants picked him as he opens up the Cowboys defense down the middle of the field. The OL should be able to fend of a depleted Dallas front four.
Our defense should be able to control the Dallas O. We can pressure Prescott, and cover their WRs well enough. We do need to be careful about not over pursuing when Dak bootlegs, and on misdirection and screen plays.
The Giants can expect the referees to provide the Cowboys with a hometown call or two. It will come down to the 4th quarter and probably be decided by a FG. Most would say that favors the Cowboys and Dan Bailey, but I'll say Giants rookie Aldrick Rosas is the hero and kicks the game winner late.
from blatant holds, Oline needs to stay poised, O needs to protect the Duke and whole team needs to be physical/heavy-handed, especially with Zeke.
Expect early jitters on both sides until teams get settled. Giants need to withstand early punch but Dallas with home fans getting loud on Sunday night national TV, as well.
Lastly, I want to see Engram become that TE that haunts Dallas for years to come, much like Witten has done to us!
looks like a brutal schedule. ODB can't miss an extended period of time.

Pretty hilarious exchange between him and Irvin.
giants have 3 good corners and that helps in stopping the run game because they stack the box and dare dak to beat you...
High-ankle sprains like Odell Beckham suffered can take 4 weeks to heal. Today marks fewer than 3. But there's more optimism today than Fri.

Odell Beckham Jr's ankle was sore yesterday after considerable amount of treatment he's getting. A game-time decision? "For sure," I'm told.

i still dont believe it is high ankle...
but if he is still that sore if he can do more damage if he plays just sit him...
if it is just pain tolerance and he cant do more damage i think he plays...
Will Double E be a player to reckoned with right out of the blocks?
Will Perkins be the man in the backfield?
Will TE's help this OL with blocking?
Can the Giants run the ball with the new players?
Which Eli shows up this season?
Can Rosas kick a last second pressure fg?
Will the defense be as strong, stronger, or will there be a slight drop off?
And of course, will this OL show improvement over last season?
Naturally, if OBj can't play or is limited, everyone else has to up their game.....
Dallas is at full strength on offense and Dak has a year under his belt.....he has a full playbook.....the Dallas offense will be better....
Their defense is suspect and has a lot of new parts.....Eli and the offense has to score points and take some of the pressure off the defense....
Nothing better than going into Dallas and winning one on the road, outside of the playoffs...
the addition of Marshall and Engram should be enough to let OBJ sit this game out.
(Please suit up Odell)
...(and assuming OBJ does NOT play), gotta feeling that the pass-oriented Giants will pass even more than usual.
And that has nothing to do with the effectiveness (or inadequacies) of the run game.
Giants will open it up from the get-go and they will live or die on how well their passing game clicks.
But one difference. It won't necessarily be a downfield passing attack, but numerous underneath passes with several throws to RBs.
Go Big Blue!!!

...a night game, is all the f-ing bullshit we're gonna be subjected to regarding Zeke's non-suspension and OBJ's ankle.
Gonna suck.
But a Giants win would make it allllllll worthwhile!!!

60/40 that Odell plays
