30/70
I'll go 30/70....it would be a first.
56 by the Mick....
Bird still not hitting as expected. Not far off.
Now that Judge has hit 3 this week, does it look like he is coming out of his slump or just bad Rangers/Orioles pitching.

that the trio of Judge, Sanchez and Bird would hit 100.

It certainly looks like it. He is again hitting to all fields, hitting balls hard, and most importantly he is walking. But, even when hot, he still strikes out too much.
He never stopped getting walks. OBP is well over .400. Two HRs to right is a good sign.
Betances needs to get his shit together. But that's another big series win
I know that's simplified, but the main point is that Sanchez needs to improve relative to his current self, because he is strong to great in practically every other aspect of the game. His caught stealing % is 8th in the league, and his catcher ERA--the pitcher ERA when he catches-- is a surprisingly strong tied for 3rd in the league.
The Yankees have so many guys who are superior hitters right now, especially if Judge is truly back. Didi and Castro kicking ass, and so, shockingly, is Headley.
I also think Joe should flip Gardy and Ells right now.
I don't know what happened to Headley in May, but what a remarkable turn around.

I'm not too sure Bird's teammates are comforted by the fact his bat is in the lineup now. If anything they're fighting to make the playoffs and he's been a zero offensively. I think that adds to the pressure.

If Judge can just turn it around to average, they could beat anybody in a series. I think Castro and Bird back takes a load of pressure off Judge.

Similar to Judge, Bird is just missing pitches. I don't think he is far off. Judge seems that he is coming around a little bit. Bird needs ABs to cure his ills.
