At this point last season, nobody knew much about Shepard

Ten Ton Hammer : 9/10/2017 3:27 pm
We did quickly get a sense once the whistles blew.

3 receptions for 46 yards and a decisive scoring play in a game where every point mattered. Though he didn't take over the day, he carried this momentum into a big week 2 and posted his first career 100 yard game.

Kinda feel confident about Engram being able to have this sort of noticeable start to his career. Everything you read seems to make him out to be much like Beckham. Ahead of the curve in terms of work ethic, advanced as a receiver and with a head for the game. I wouldn't be shocked at all if he got his first TD tonight.
Im interested to see what new formations

and wrinkles we employ or if we are still going to run the "11" for the most part. Engram and Shepard seemingly play the same position and will be competing against each other for snaps.

having a receiving TE like him is going to even help with the runs. MC will have lots of new stuff for Dallas
I don't think we'll do many creative things, given

that Marshall, Engram and Ellison are new. But if Eli has enough time, these guys and Shepard (and whoever else) can get open.

They will have a number of new plays for Engram.

We saw some of them in preseason. They will use him often especially if Beckham is out
