only sort of related but my wife's uncle looks a lot like Gregg Allman and used to get mistaken for him all of the time (when Gregg was still alive, of course.)
look I'm only 35, but I have seen Gregg 23 times

this album is incredibly haunting. Reading this article makes the last 3 shows I saw of the ABB that much more special. The man knew he was going to die and still went on stage and slayed it every night!
If Allman wouldn't have croaked they should have

signed him to play offensive line. At 70 something, after years of drug and alcohol abuse, and a liver transplant, he would have been our best lineman hands down.
