The Giants OL is sill the problem Teams are still dropping six or seven on many plays for that reason, a problem that the lack of OBJ simply compounds. Hart and Jerry played poorly. I would at least switch Jerry for Jones.
The Eli of old would have strung 5 fabulous passes together for a TD drive to bring us within a TD before shitting the bed. Playing poorly all game and then totally shitting the bed with a dumbass throw before giving the fans false hope is much easier on the psyche.
Not sure if you or others here were paying attention in the first half. Marshall was wide open OFTEN but Eli was not even looking his way. Mostly because Marshall is not running dump off routes and Eli does not have time to wait. Then, finally he throws to Marshall but it sails in some other unknown direction. So, Marshall is useless?

Honestly, tonight I am not sure where to place the blame, when it's this bad it's hard to dissect it. Eli had 75% completion percentage but a woeful 5.5 YPa, which makes it hard to assign blame. No protection? Bad playcalling? Not making downfield reads?? Who knows, but Eli certainly hasn't looked sharp--the misses he had tonight all tended to be on longer or more difficult throws.

Nobody on that OL should feel good about cashing their game check. And, I hate to say it, neither should Eli.
Eli and the right side of the line played a bad game a land look like they both did during last season. I wld replace jones at right guard with the Canadian and go with that for the rest of the year. As far as Eli.... this is he swan song.
why the surprise, you knew what we did with the oline (nothing). Giants will let the season go to shit and then release Flowers, etc to make them the scapegoats and justify wrecking the contracts and cap;
would also consider benching Hart, but for Wheeler, not Fluker. Seriously. Wheeler lacks strength, but appears to have the feet to play tackle. Hart was consistently beaten around the edge.

We have a couple of these games every year. The second half of the playoff game vs the Packers was not much better.
