Have a talk with McAdoo, convince him that the O has been bad long enough and consider replacing/making changes at OC.
In this case, the first change would be to get someone else to handle playcalling duties. That should happen pronto, since it's apparent that playcalling has been an issue.
Next up would be removing Sullivan as OC. I'm not sure how much that changes things, seeing as it's technically McAdoo's O, but maybe it's time to start reconsidering that given how ineffective it's been for the past year.

2016 had plenty of moments - it's just impossible for some on BBI to admit it
Eli is fading - they front office knows it, look at how much attention they put on QB this offseason.
With an aging QB you play great defense and run the ball. By the time Eli retires maybe we'll see an effective run game. It is embarrassing that they need to go empty backfield on 3rd and 1 - same bullshit as last year
This team is going nowhere with this OL. Philly's front 7 is going to kill
Eli.
Boy that stunk. Ellie Mae and the offense....yet another sub-20 point output.......
Defense looked decent not great.
Mid- to low-tier team this year would not be a surprise.
one reason is that by the time Eli decides to throw to the check down guy, the defenders have already figured it out.
there was at least 5 times tonight I was yelling at the tv for eli to throw the ball to the guy in the flat or the RB who checked down just past the D line, but he waited and when he finally threw it to that guy the D was right there to stop it for little gain.
The important thing is Odell looked good on sideline. His hair was
Is not Eli. Look at the way he's throwing - barely stepping into any of them, super uncomfortable in the pocket. Very similar to Brady in those two Super Bowls we beat them in.
Problem is squarely the o-line, they get beat, then get into their own head and get beat even more on simple stunts and bull rushes. This is on Reese, period.
Since no one can be trusted, Eli has to unload the ball in one second. Every one of our linemen has either backup ability, or should be playing in the arena league.
Look if Ellie May cannot step into a pass is sails or stalls. He never had the arm strength to throw with his hip parallel to the line of scrimmage.
With a terrible offensive line.......
Anyone predicting their first victory?
SF?
RE: RE: RE: Someone explain to me how Dallas has 2-3 guys
Is the implication that Engram is slow? Or Perkins? Who's the slow guy here, the slot WR or Marshall?
It has nothing to do with speed. It's about play design - the offense has to do things before the snap to create mismatches, and show different looks to create confusion that potentially lead to blown coverages. This is what good offenses do to get their players open. Play design for this team has been very poor for years now.

Marshal is a slug. Elliot is fast, much quicker and faster than Perkins. Williams is fast; Bryce what's his name is fast; Beasley is very quick. The Dallas lb's and db's are fast, their D-line is very quick. We needed to get quicker and faster and Jerry showed up with 30+ Marshall and a FB/TE. The only player we have on offense with Dallas-type speed and quickness is ODB. Engram we'll see, but he won't be exhibiting speed and quickness running the 3 yard outs which are a "feature" of this offense.
LOL I can't believe you went through the game thread too
Why are they even bothering?

I mean its funny to see FMIC at like a whiner but my god
Ahh too funny for all you losers out there that thinks Eli is the problem never mind .
This offensive philosophy if thats what you want tto call it is just about as bad as the offensive line Eli has to protect him .
It showed all of last year and the year before and all pre-season and you expected improvement ?

Eli is done. This OL is a disgrace.

The Giants make this decision even more difficult due to neglecting the OL for a number years.

Did you watch football last season?
The problem is they knew he sucked last year yet we resigned him instead of get a starting caliber player

The problem is the guy who could have replaced him tonight was inactive. He has to be active next week. To put pressure on these guys to do their job.
