It has. And so has Eli. First time I'll allow myself to admit it. I feel like he's hitting a wall at his age. I'm pretty demoralized right now. I think I'm finally coming to grips with reality.
is built around OBJ: quick slants and deep outs. Without him in there the entire offense loses its identity. There was no way we would score points tonight unless the defense got some turnovers, and that didn't happen.
this offense was going to get fixed based on what we saw in the Pre-Season. Same thing last year off the pre-season and it never got fixed. If it were not for their defense this team would have won 7-8 games.
so one year later, bad pre-season and it has carried over into their opener. No Odell and non of the new players on offense made a difference. No question Manning has regressed as he had last season and finally why is it that when Ben was the offensive coordinator this team looked so much better on offense? They have looked awful and predictable on offense since he has become the head coach!!
Changes need to be made, and made fast!! Lions put up 35 today!
He has addressed it -- he's been addressing it, in various ways, dating back to 2009.
He and the team in general are just fucking terrible at doing so.
We are so scroomed with this OL.
There's Eli's life to lose.
They're not suddenly going to be able to block just because it's garbage time.
Next week will be better - if OBJ returns.

This team is going to be lucky to beat any decent team.
