I remember we all had high expectations in 2003, and everything went wrong. I'm not saying this could be 2003, but this is a volatile constructed team. Odell & Marshall are huge personalities on offense, and a ton of high priced defensive players who may become very frustrated with an inept offense leaving them on the field. The OL looks awful again, and Eli looks very old as painful as it is for me to say.
There is a ton of pressure next week, because week 3 is an absolute buzzsaw going into Philly for their home opener.
24 hours ago I was deluded into thinking this is SB team
Offense looked like GB game 8 months ago
John Jerry is garbage, the OLINE cant pick up stunts, showed that all preseason
McAdoo was schooled again... and our receivers cannot get any seperation, again
D gets worn down as season progresses due to offensive impotence.
OBJ is our Zeke. He forces the opposing team to plan around him. Now if OBJ misses extended time all bets are off.
Who brought in that wunderkind Solari? The first sack on Eli was the same simple stunt we saw in the preseason.....Did the OL play better under Flaherty's last season or the last two under Solari?
I don't think they'll get this offense up to where some of the talent level is on account of personnel on ol til the off season.
figure out how to block consistently, how to run the ball effectively, and Eli learning to get back up to par and just managing the game has to be focus
That Philly D Line is going to be tough to run against,
and will pressure Eli.
Unfortunately, don't see a difference so far with Solari here
as the O line coach, just not seeing it!
