Jackrabbit and Dez

So one bright spot (one of few) last night was the matchup between Bryant and Jenkins. It looked again like Jenkins did a helluva job covering Bryant again. Dez caught 2 balls on 9 targets for 43 yards, but his second catch for 35 yards saw the Giants in a zone and Jenkins unable to get there in time. Aside from that, Dez is 1 catch for 8 yards on 8 targets.

And the pass interference was bullshit. Hell, even the announcers took a break from slombering over the Cowboys to agree that was a bad call.

and Dallas probably cost themselves points by trying to force passes into Dez in order to win this personal battle rather than looking elsewhere or giving the ball to Elliott as they got closer to the end zone and settled for field goals. It was actually a pretty stupid move by Garrett getting caught up in that crap to try to do that for Dez because he stewed all offseason. He's lucky the Giants offense was as big of a joke as they turned out to be, and couldn't take advantage.

was beautiful on his coverage of Witten, especially on the BS PI call. Jackrabbit better get an apology letter from the League on that miscall. He was a dutch master on that play: detailed, precise and artistic. What a coverage! Maybe his play is too fast for older eyes to process. He was a brilliant spot. I enjoyed the effort from the Defense. They were very tough in the Red Zone as we all expect from them.

I know it didn't win or lose the game, but that PI call on him irritates me so much, that should be a video on how to cover in man, it was perfect coverage and ref throws a flag because bryant whines... so annoying

the non call near the pile on. Sounds like the stadium erupted when they replayed it. I'm guessing those back judges were pressured into calling Jenkins the next time it was close.

I thought that first play was more of a PI than the actual play

the flag was thrown on. That wasn't PI in any way, shape, or form. It ended up costing us the only TD Dallas scored.
