Offenses were generally bad yesterday. Are defenses all of a sudden that good? No. It is just that because training camp and pre-season are so long and because teams are afraid of potential injuries as well as actual injuries, the pre-season now impacts the regular season.
Was Eli awful last night? Yes. Was his line bad? Definitely. Was his timing off? YUP. But instead of just saying he was bad and Dallas played well, it has more to do with the offseason and lack of time working with his players.
I do not like pre-season games but because there is so much fear of injuries (OBJ) its a catch 22 on how to prepare for the season.
I think the O will be better after some reps. How good? Not very. Scheme is bland as many point out.
...didn't Dallas have an off-season too?
And didn't they kick the living daylights out of the team in Blue last night?

Did they ? they score 1 offensive TD and if not for that gifted PI call they probably do not score that 1.Sure we were bad but let's not make this out to be the 35-0 shellacking from 1995
Odell or not our o-line got beat like a drum and they didn't
show anyone running wide open Dallas did a great job keeping
everything in front of them and they were disruptive with the pass rush .
OTAs? Last night's game was lost when he took the damn Miami trip before the playoffs.
