much easier on the back when you are flying. I recommend he tries launching the ball in the air as a way of mitigating the pounding he has been giving the dirt in front of home plate.
Again, this is undoubtedly confirmation bias, but I don't know that I've ever seen a team give up more infield singles than this one. Despite everything that has gone right this year, the Yankees just seem like a hard luck team.
It's a lot of fun to watch when both Judge and Sanchez are on
for a long bullpen appearance (2 innings, sometimes 7-8 outs) instead of a 7-8-9 inning formula. He used Chad Green that way; now he's using DRob that way. They'll do well over the long bullpen appearance, get a day off, and be ready for the following game after the day off
I don't get Judge a #2. Protecting him with Sanchez?
It certainly is disappointing.
I like that he's looking to swing though. I think one of his problems during his slump was looking at too many pitches.

I can agree with that. His sacfly against Griffin was a great example - first pitch swinging. I could tell he was going to rake in that game.
Odorizzi looking good so far...
He did.
Especially after 57 pitches to him.

Huge error by Plouffe opened the door to this two out rally. Awesome.
Amazing how Odorizzi became undone in this inning.

That error completely changed his outing. Huge butterfly effect there.
Tough break.

Never undervalue defensive surehandedness, esp. in the infield. It's a pleasure watching Frazier play 3B for that reason.

A beer leaguer should be able to make that play. There are errors, then there are really, really bad errors. That was terrible.
No different than the Sundome. Actually the Rays probably getting better gate receipts here than their.

With the expanded rosters you have more options in the pen (but they're not top quality)
