Scored a ridiculous score of 56 points to start the season. Brady/Cooks set the tone and the rest of my team just pooped the bed.
I'm a Jordan Howard owner and curious how much everyone thinks I should allocate to acquire Tarik Cohen? We have a 100 budget but my league gets super aggressive when a good player is available. I was contemplating $31 but curious on others thoughts.
Non PPR league.
Sorry UConn, your input on these threads is no longer to be taken seriously. You lost to arc by 40?????????????

with some info on bids. That said non PPR changes his value to you a bit but I'd still want him. No idea what I'd bid though.

Yeah I wouldn't listen to me either.
In the league I won, I scored the highest without Ajayi.
Awesome.
I am contemplating using a waiver claim on a player but I know that I won't be able to steal any of the top payers like Cohen or Allen, I'm currently 8th out of 14 and am weighing if I should just wait and let my waiver priority climb for something better.
I'm pretty set everywhere, but thin at WR. I have Cooper, Tate and Moncrief and thats it right now. Was wondering if it is worth it to try and take Cooper-Kupp, or should i wait till Waivers pass and try and nab someone like Marquise Lee (who may even have more value)?
Will Eifert be ok for TE or do I add Fleener?
At WR:
Golladay
Agholor
Marquise Lee
Marquise Goodwin
Jermaine Kearse
JJ Nelson
Breshard Perriman
What 2 to add? I am liking Agholor Lee and Nelson.
I need another RB and have Jordan Howard
Tarik cohen wouldn't make sense ....
I don't want to waste priority on the Arizona by committee
Available
Carson
Sims
Buck Allen
Kamara
Chris Thompson
Non ppr and pickins are slim....
I did hang onto Cohen in the other league - but that's the league where I already have Gurley, Hunt, McCaffrey, and Coleman - so I'm loaded @ RB. The league I dropped him is the one I really need him.
I'm going to put in an aggressive bid but I also don't want to blow a huge chunk of my budget. Very costly mistake and stupid on my behalf.
QB: Ryan, Big Ben
WR: A. Brown, Cooks, T. Hill, R. Cobb, J. Maclin
RB: Gurley, R. Kelley, F. Gore, D. Martin (Susp)
TE: J. Reed, E. Engram
1K, 1 DEF
Do I drop Kelley for Cohen or Golladay then I have to start Cohen or Gore, Kelley sucked this week, but I think he's still the main back in WAS for now at least. And by the time Martin returns who cares.
Do I drop Maclin for Golladay or Kupp?

To be fair to him, everyone would have lost to me except T-Bone.
:)

I'd drop Kelley for Cohen or Allen. Perine will eventually take over notwithstanding his 0-0-0 day.
I'd hold Maclin.
He's available in all my leagues.
I would hold into Maclin. He'll likely be more consistent than either of the guys you're considering dropping him for.
Maybe Trade Cobb + Kelly for a better RB?
Maybe Trade Cobb + Kelly for a better RB?
I feel like I need a 2nd TE on my roster, Jordan Reed while awesome when healthy is never healthy so yeah, I drafted him anyway and then they report just before week 1 he has a broken toe or some shit and is going to play through it all year (or until he gets his 90th concussion)
I can drop Engram, but I do feel like a need another TE option, unless I try and sell low on Reed for another TE.
Shallow position.
I am shopping Cobb and have some interest.
He's available in all my leagues.
He had 1 really big play on a broken play. I'm def not sold.
People think Howard is just going to lose his job like that? I know Cohen is the goods, but Howard isn't a scrub either.

Plenty of touches to go around. Meredith and Kevin White both out long term. Kendall Wright can play, but he's never been a high target volume guy.
Cohen will be a utility knife.
You spent more than half your budget? Oof. That's one expensive pickup!
I'll go against the grain and say I think you paid about the right price. You didn't steal him but I don't think you made an egregious move.
Hooper
Clay
Brate
At best there are 16 weeks left, but most leagues have their championships in week 16, so there are really only 15 weeks left!
Actually, guy, the next highest was 38

51/100. Will be interesting to see how that backfield plays out.

It is. It absolutely is. We'll see if it pays off!

Honestly if I didn't have Howard I wouldn't have spent as much
Not all leagues are the same.
My 12 team league drafted 20 rounds and has 27 roster spots per team. In a PPR league, you can certainly make a good case to take Allen or the Bears guy for 50-65% of the budget since the chances to get anyone who can contribute are so slim due to the format.

I have a very similar team, especially WRs. I am thinking of dropping Gore for Gollady.

like Cohen and Golladay or Kupp, in my only league they're available (non ppr) and we have a FAAB, but who do you drop from this team?

Though if I had your team, I'd probably drop Maclin.
I have Jarvis Landry, Duke Johnson and Woodhead on my bench and need a TE and I am considering a waiver claim for Cohen or Golloday. Which would you prefer? Looking to dump Johnson first, but I may just drop him for another TE (James, Clay, Engram, Zach Miller all FAs). Otherwise I could just dump Henry and stream.
WR:Evans, Cooper, Pryor, Jeffery, Landry, Watkins
RB:McCoy, Hunt, Anderson, Gillislee, Woodhead, Duke Johnson
TE:Hunter Henry
K:Hopkins
D:Jags
Can you tell who got auto-drafted while I was making dinner? 10 team league with some people with strange strategies, so plenty of bodies left.
I have Gordon, Fournette, Vereen and Powell.
You guys think Buck Allen is worth using the slot or save it?
Now the question of Cohen being worth that or not is a separate one. That will be more league format/team specific. There are some leagues I will do that in for Cohen, where the rosters are deep and the amount of impact players on waivers over the course of the season extremely small.
