With Hart Injured who comes in?

BigBlueDownTheShore : 9/13/2017 10:36 am
Will it be Fluker or Wheeler?
Wheeler with Fluker as the backup
superspynyg : 9/13/2017 10:36 am : link
I would imagine.
Fluker

.
my guess they go with the vet
nygiants16 : 9/13/2017 10:39 am : link
i would also like jones for jerry, something not mentioned, jones adds another voice with experience playing center to help richburgh call out block schemes...

i think seubert helped ohara a lot with this

Most likely Fluker
Jay on the Island : 9/13/2017 10:43 am : link
Wheeler needs more time to develop. Hopefully Fluker plays well enough that Hart returns to the bench where he belongs.

I disagree. I don't think it'll be Jerry.

Giants don't see Fluker as a RT. My guess is Wheeler replaces Hart, and they give him some help. I'd also like to see Jones replace Jerry.
the problem with Wheeler at RT
JonC : 9/13/2017 10:57 am : link
is he's not likely to create any movement in the run game, tend to think they'll give Fluker as a veteran who can move piles the first crack.
rookie FA over a guy with at least some exp at RT??
BillKo : 9/13/2017 10:58 am : link
think it's got to be Fluke, so Eli feels he has some experience at least there.
Move Pugh or Jerry to RT
Mike in NY : 9/13/2017 10:58 am : link
Start Jones at OG

That, he did not play RT at all during the preseason
Michael Oher is out there
32_Razor : 9/13/2017 11:09 am : link
He was dominant at one point

Yes.
During "The Blind Spot"
I agree with those saying

it'll be Fluker.

Makes the most sense.

(So it'll be Wheeler. lol)

Not a bad idea. Make the DE swipe his card before getting to Eli!
what about Wheeler at LT and Flowers at RT?

Pick your poison. Wheeler is unlikely to get push in the run game. Fluker is unlikely to be able to pass protect, especially against speedy edge rushers. Eli then has to step up, but might not be able to if Richburg gets pushed back into the pocket. I'd rather have a pass protector, especially since Eli is immobile. Then give Wheeler help if needed.
Hart is playing

I doubt there will be wholesale OL changes yet
JonC : 9/13/2017 11:37 am : link
especially considering they're plain talent deficient across the unit including depth.

Wheeler did see some time at RT in the preseason.

Have you seen

Fluker at G? Zero lateral agility or quickness. He doesnt even have the feet to play G, hed be an utter disaster in space. He makes Hart look like a good athlete. Fluker is not an NFL player.
FUCK IT

wheeler pugh richburg fluker flowers

wheeler jones richburg flowers pugh

wheeler pugh richburg fluker flowers

flowers jones richburg fluker pugh

any of those are probably better than sunday...i mean could it be worse?
I VOLUNTEER TO START IN PLACE OF HART
Bramton1 : 9/13/2017 3:23 pm : link
I really couldn't do any worse, right?
Wheeler
Marty866b : 9/13/2017 4:32 pm : link
NEVER played any right tackle in college. I don't know if that's a big problem with footwork and all but I think it might be.
Jones for Pugh and Pugh for Harr

If Hart cannot play,
Simms11 : 9/13/2017 5:59 pm : link
It'll be Fluker. He's experienced at RT and has practiced there somewhat in pre season. Quite frankly he played better at RT then Guard in San Diego and I know that's not saying much, but I don't think the Giants would put a rookie UDFA, that's never played the position, at RT, albeit a guy that needs to add muscle?! He's get run over and pushed back like Hart, maybe worse.
If it's Fluker
EddieNYG : 9/13/2017 6:32 pm : link
Why was he inactive Game 1?

If he is the next man up at T, why would they have Wheeler active and not Fluker?

Just that reason along would make me think that if Hart can't play, than Wheeler would be the starter at RT with Fluker and Jones as the backups.
No ideal solution at RT
JonC : 9/14/2017 9:09 am : link
Wheeler's a rookie LT, Fluker struggles with lateral movement in space etc.
