At least that is a mantra often repeated. I ve heard more than once how you have to be wary of teams coming off a big loss. A long week of coaches, fans and media criticism can really get a team focused
Well the Giants are desperate for a win Monday, unless you think going into Philly at 0-2 is no big deal.
I think Monday Night will be very revealing for this team going forward.
Hard to believe with all the optimism going into the season , that it already feels like a crises in week two.
But many here kept warning of the elephant in the room, and many, me included, just didn t want to believe that the offensive line wouldn't be better.
Reese wouldn't allow such a problem to go unaddressed if there wasn't good evidence that it was going to be better, would he!
Remember we beat this team easily just 4 regular season games ago, they're not that good. If we come out and play well it could set the season in motion. Conversely if they come out and the offense sucks again, its going to be a long season. If there was ever a game to be ready for this is it.
I think we will be fired up for this one.
They held them to 6 last season, so its right in our wheel house :)
This offense better wake up, and that starts upfront!
Detroit won 8 games in the 4th Qtr. last year,
and were behind in the first half last week.
So now let's step back from it all and look at it as an owner. We know we have a problem. What is the root of that problem? Is it the coaching? The offensive line? Our QB? Whatever it is, we have to identify it and fix it.
When you look at the off season moves, they really did not do much at all to fix the offense. They got Brandon Marshall who BBI said was finished after watching the last game. We got a TE... that's it. Those two parts were supposed to take us from the 26th ranked offense to top 3rd?
We have not been able to run the ball in years. How did we fix that this off season?
