Offensive Woes

Quick thought. Eli has a high football IQ. His father is quite knowledgeable. Brother Peyton has virtually been an O coordinator for most of his career. Have they analyzed the situation and given any input? Have they been ignored? If the personnel and scheme are poor, one would think Eli would speak up and have input. Even though Reese and McAdoo are the bosses, Eli is a high level executive. His insights should be listened to.
He talks to his Dad

for positive reinforcement . He talks to his brother a couple times a week. I'm sure he asks him if he's missing sonething . But I doubt he goes over the coach's tape with him although Peyton can access that will Field Pass.

General things . Can't run against 7. Safeties back . False C2 look. Really in three-deep or quarters . What do you key on?

As far as Eli's input with his coaches and the game plan, rest assured he already has big points there. I don't think people realize that. Eli is a big part of deciding what formations and plays will be utilized against the next opponent . For chrissakes, Reeves listen to Dave Brown.

What else is there? You have to make the throws. They know where you are going to be at all times, like metal filings to a magnet. Therefore , you have to be willing to take the hit .
Offensive woes start with a sub par oline, an aging Eli needs more

time to be effective. Also, Eli's skills are not what they use to be, over the last few seasons it appears he has lost arm strength.

My point was the O line and scheme/plan directly effect both the ability of the offense to function and also the success and pounding Eli takes. If it was me and I thought there were things that could be done on the line with personnel regarding changes in who is playing and where they are playing , I sure would speak up. Especially if my reputation and body were at risk. I'm just wondering if Eli is voicing suggestions to the coach and the GM and he is being ignored
Yes. He spoke with them

And they said we have the worst offensive line in the history of time and they suggested in order to prepare for the Lions game he stand in the middle of the interstate and avoid trying to get by oncoming traffic.
Archie sent him some game tapes

Where has all the grammar gone? Here the scheme/plan affect both. They can have an effect on both too.

When it comes to posters they just don't seem to go there for lessons they're clearly lacking in their posting skills.
It's real simple

We can't run the ball. Even with the less then spectacular pass protection of we could run the ball we could have at least a decent offense. With no run game they just drop 7 back in a zone. This limited the ability for YAC which this offense is dependent on. We run the WCO that relies on YAC and until we can force teams to bring an extra man in the box we won't be able to create the YAC to drive this offense
It's even more simpler then that

McAdoo shows no creativity period. Defenses have him figured out and until he's able to counter their adjustments we're going to see more of the same. Plus, the Giants have no big bruiser in the backfield to wear defenses down. They have a handful of Shane Vereen like running backs who are quick and shifty but no one who can push the pile. Maybe Darkwa but he's no Brandon Jacobs.
