Some models have now shown a significant turn to the west. It will probably be nothing but it definitely deserves to be monitored over the next couple of days for the Mid-Atlantic and Southern New England.
shift east, shift west, looping involved. I wouldn't be surprised if there are Tropical Storm Watches for Long Island sometime tonight or tomorrow morning. It would be for some time during the day on Tuesday into Wednesday. Still some question with the exact track but it has to be watched.

It was in the mid-atlantic looping around in a circle for a few days last week and now it looks like it will do the same off the northeastern coast. I don't recall ever seeing a storm act like this one.
