last with the New Orleans Saints? I feel 'somethin a 'brewin
down on the Bayou myself.
If he thought he was going to get a lot of carries with
Sean Payton as HC, and Brees at QB, he thought very wrong.
Brees throws over 600+ passes a season!
I will put the over/under at 8 games? What do you think?
I always thought it was a weird fit. He isn't a good pass catcher and because of that they are far more obvious when he's in the game. Their line also sucks so there's that too.
or
Outright release him.
There are a LOT of teams where he would be a great fit. I don't want him on the Giants, he's a POS child abuser.
But you have to wonder if his dissatisfaction was more that the Vikings were the opponent.
If he had only 8 carries vs. a Jacksonville or Tampa team on a Sunday at 1, would have had the same reaction?
Ingram ran for 5.0 last year. They just didn't have a gameplan to run consistently.
And I do recall them bringing in Peterson on a GL play, and the pay was a PA out where Peterson runs to the flat and that was Brees first look. That's on Sean.

Maybe he could have signed with the Packers who are using a WR at RB?
That's almost half the league.
He looks pretty healthy to me. I wasn't completely on board with signing this guy as a FA but I wouldn't mind trading something insignificant for him. He might be a spark here.
Pretty sure he knows what he got himself into every other Thursday.
He wasn't exactly fighting off the offers.
Right. We should just use the crappiest rbs on earth since it doesn't matter anyway...
Good rbs help bad offenses no matter what.
Spin: Peterson did at least carry the ball on six of his nine snaps, picking up 18 yards in his return to Minnesota. His small workload partially was a result of the Saints playing from behind, but it also illustrates the reality that he'll be competing with Mark Ingram (26 snaps) and Alvin Kamara (31) for playing time all season.
That's almost half the league.
From 2011-16 regarding passes thrown by Brees:
657, 670, 650, 659, 627, and 673.
Try doing a little homework, I just used the '600' figure
to point out, Peterson picked the wrong team to play for!
