So what's the consensus here tonight folks? Are you paying for the big Canelo/GGG fight? Or are you sticking with the free UFC event on FS1?
Not to mention college football going on right now.
But late-night - what are you watching BBI?
Is the boxing match worth the money?
Nice!
Well done sir!
Super excited about this fight- best matchup of "name" fighters in years- plus I love that damned ginger.
Not paying for it, tho. Looking for a stream- so if anyone has a good one, please share.
Is that the thing where the guys wear panties and flex muscles? Sounds pretty cool I guess.
Watching on SBS Sports in Korea. No charge!
Kinda kills the middle of the day, though.

I don't have SBS in my room. CCTV and Star Sports
I VPN, but have no clue how to Reddit. I will Google it. Thanks!!
I got lucky. It's in Chinese, but who cares!
Zero
Debate
Any judge who scored that fight 118-110 for either guy should never judge anything again except De La Hoya's women's underwear line.
While I see the logic, even reaching and trying to give Canelo as many rounds as possible, GGG still had him 7 to 5. 118 is insane. I don't think anybody would have honesty had GGG at a 118, but Canelo? Madness!
This is a fight that's hard to score, though. I can see rounds going to GGG based purely on him being the aggressor and out jabbing Canelo.
Either way it was an awesome fight. GGG has a hell of a chin- walked through some hellacious shots- of course we're not saying that about Alvarez because he didn't get hit with any huge shots- certainly not even close to as many as GGG did.

Strongly disagree GGG didn't land hard shots. He's the naturally bigger man and he hurt Canelo pretty regularly through the middle rounds. GGG sits down on his shots and beats him in rematch.

So you missed the one where GGG hit him in the ear and Canelo went sideways and then shook his head to say i'm not hurt before cowering?
Heard the same thing a few times this week from pundits. Canelo is gonna have his day and he's positioned nicely for the next half decade, but this shit is shady.
Put her on ESPN. Let her commentate how she scored punch by punch of 8-12. If those are all Canelo rounds, I am Eli Manning.
The argument against it being rigged is that even with a decision for GGG, there still would've been a rematch. It was a close fight. Now you've got Teddy Atlas saying corruption in boxing and pointing the finger at De La Hoya.

is the idea that McGregor/Mayweather 3 weeks ago took away a chunk of the probable audience for this fight, so they needed to make a case for a rematch before the first fight even began.

Oh certainly - if there's such a thing in boxing as a credible, properly executed fix, this wasn't it.
But I still think the 118-110 scorecard was so bad, it better makes the case for crummy judging rather than corrupt judging.

GGG came forward but wasn't landing shit aside from his jab. Canelo was slipping almost everything and landing hard counters. All you need to do is look at their faces to tell who landed more hard shots.

Round 5, 1:00
That scorecard might as well be Janet's titty. Shame it'll end up being what's remembered.
