Hmmmm guess it is not easy to play well when you are gettting 1 sec to throw. Rodgers needs to throw it forward?!?! He sucks just like Eli. Dak is the best.
is a complete waste of time and it's actually getting worse because they are sticking with the call on the field more than they ever have.
Just get rid of it and live with the results. I can't live with replay fucking it up, and it happens all the time.
The ball not only went forward, his arm was moving forward when contacted so even if it went backwards its still supposed to be an incomplete pass.
So now you have officials letting it play out because of replay, but replay basically doesnt want to overturn anything anymore.
They are going backwards with replay every year. It's mind numbing.
I never understood why what was called on the field matters UNLESS you just can't tell.
Otherwise the call on the field shouldn't matter. Make the best determination of what the call should be based on replay and don't take the call on the field into account unless it's a coin flip.

I agree with the replay being a joke. Amazing NCAA gets it right and NFL doesn't want to have it, period.
I think it was a lateral pass, hence a fumble. But you have an interesting point on contact, arm moving forward, etc.....There has to be a reason it wasn't ruled a fwd pass and Collinsworth and Michaels never mentioned it.
Rogers has had in the pocket? He said that Rogers sucked in the first half because Rogers was only getting 2.5 seconds per pass to throw, which is much less then he usually gets. Correct me if I'm wrong, but according to some publication (PFF) doesn't Eli get even less than that?
IT just goes to show that no QB can function without pass protection.

Tell yourself what you like. What he said was Rodgers maybe because of two backup tackles in tonight's game was getting rid of the ball in that amount of time. That's not the same as only having. And he never used the word suck or anything remotely negative.
I'll say it - Eli doesn't sniff Rodgers jock. Never has. Get over it.
Not sure why every game not featuring the gmen comes back to Eli. Is semien much better than Eli because he just shredded a defense we put three on? No. That doesn't make sense either

There was zero evidence to overturn that call. In fact replay seemed to verify the call. The ball did not go forward. If the ball even lands on the same plane or yard line that he threw it from, it is a lateral. And in the case of a lateral, his arm moving forward means absolutely nothing. It's a lateral. Just like if he had thrown the ball to back out of the backfield, without even getting hit. If the ball goes backwards, or even in line with where he threw it from, it is a live ball. His arm going forward does not kill the play on a lateral.
Loved that
Loved that
Yep, awesome. This stadium is unreal by the way.
Not really. Rodgers is getting the ball out in about 2 seconds.
Didn't want to miss the game...but screwed myself on timing
And he looks like he is up 20 pounds
And Ryan looks sharp.
it was the wrong call
Quote:
As he was likely able to get away with that pick as a Patriot.
it was the wrong call
Graphic really showed how bad that call was. Picked the CB on the line of scrimmage - easily legal.
But Bennett looks terrible.

No he doesn't. Rodgers looks much better but you can dream all u like...
If I'm them, I'd be tempted to kick a field goal on first down if my next drive gets me to the 25.

Mook, arm moving forward does not necessarily mean incomplete pass, if it goes backwards it is a lateral.
