Had a good day yesterday in my money league. BBI league not so much.
I'll start off by saying I was wrong on AP. I still think he can be a good RB, just not on the Saints. I really hope he's traded at some point.
TEs took a hit yesterday with the top 2 going down with injuries(Gronk and Olsen).
I heard him scream "NOOOOOOOOOO" all the way from my home!! LOL......
He was hurt by Zeke's bad game and Cobb getting hurt early.
1-1 ready for week 3.

I'm like a magnet for players who go off (including defenses).
Probably pull out a win in one, but not counting my chickens.
I'm up 9 points and my opponent has Prater, I have Rosas and NYG Defense. I can see a 4 FG night by Prater sending me to the L. Hope I'm wrong.

That's always the worst. I always say fantasy football always comes down to who you play and when you play them.
Too many times I have weeks were I do well and but my opponent goes off. Meanwhile I would have beat more than half the teams in the league.
Kareem Hunt making me look good.
My leagues all have cash awards for most points during the 'regular' season and weekly high scores making this a much more difficult situation.
Anyway, is it me or is this a really dumb trade?
Team A trades:
Jay Ajayi
Pierre Garcon
Team B trades:
DeAndre Hopkins
Andre Ellington
Veto-worthy? They're not colluding - team A is just really fucking stupid.
Now he's a year older and has returned from another major injury.
He sat around in free agency waiting to get an opportunity. And he had to settle for a timeshare role in a pass-first offense.
I would be surprised if a team traded for him now. They had their shot at him in the spring. And they passed. And he's certainly not making any of those teams regret it right now.
I still think he'd be a good player on the right team. OAK was ideal before signing Lynch. Strong OL and a desire to run the ball 20-25+ times/game.
If Zeke does get suspended, AP would be a fit there and would likely get 5+ ypc behind that OL. But while he'd be better than any RB on the Giants, I don't think he's a great fit due to his lack of versatility. He's a much better RB with a lead FB or out of the single back and his effectiveness as a runner drops significantly when he runs out of shotgun.
I had a good Brady performance for 30.8 points and my total points right now is 56.8.
My fantasy season is almost gone before it begun.
I need 16 pts to win and Have Tate and Riddick going tonight, I should be safe right? I do have Engram, but I can'y play him over Riddick, Riddick will likely get a ton of catches tonight right?
Another mediocre week overall for me, but at least I proved who the real Playa is this week!

My team is just terrible in every facet in that league and post draft I was expected to come in 3rd by Yahoo.
I can't even really fix it. Jordan Howard, Jordy Nelson, Russel Wilson, plenty of blame to go around on that team.
Your 0 - 13 hall of shame record could be in jeopardy.
I think I have a decent shot at winning.

I have the Jordan Howard/Russell Wilson combo in a couple of leagues. I picked up Wentz in a couple last week, and I think I am going to begin to start him. The good news is that in most leagues, there are intriguing QBs that are still available. Names that aren't traditional strong QB names, but guys that I think can help. I'm not going to play Wentz next week because they are playing the Giants, and I'm a believer in Giants DEF of course.
But see if you can pry away Andrew Luck. Value is low right now. And I don't think he's going to be out much longer. Remember, the Colts could've just put him on PUP but they didn't. They must believe he'd be ready prior to week 7. I think he misses week 3 but starts week 4. That is my guess.
Otherwise, see if Wentz is available. You can also pick up Alex Smith in a lot of leagues. And while that might sound horrible, he's the 3rd highest fantasy scoring QB through two weeks. Now, that's a little misleading because Jameis Winston, Jay Cutler, Eli Manning, and Matt Stafford have all only played one game so far, but it's still noteworthy. And the #1 fantasy QB thus far? Trevor Semian. I'd prefer Wentz or Smith at this point, but if they aren't available, I'd start Siemian as a matchup-based play right now. He's hot, and if you watched him yesterday, he is making some really nice throws. Another guy you should consider to pick up in deep leagues is DeShaun Watson if he is available. He will continue to rack up rushing yards and if you remember the fantasy superstardom of Michael Vick in his heyday, then I will say that Watson is the closest thing I think we've had since Vick. I think his best play is in front of him, and he'll get more comfortable.
Wilson's situation is bad right now because his OL is awful and isn't likely to improve. Like worse than the Giants awful. I still believe in Wilson because he's the kind of player that rises up in adversity, but I don't think he's a guy for the time being I feel really comfortable putting in as my starter for my fantasy teams.

The team getting Kupp and Henry. Walker is good, but his value I believe is at a high point, and the team selling Henry is selling at a low point. I think Henry's longer term outlook is pretty good. And especially if you are in PPR, Kupp has some good games ahead as well.
Tate over Shep is probably a no brainer but if OBJ plays Eli might be the better play.
Thoughts?
Why would you want to play it if it was totally predictable?
If OBJ is our DEFINATLY Sheppard..

My opponent has no one left. I have to choose either Engram or Shephard as my flex option. Leaning towards Shepard. Any opinions?

Agree gotta be Sheppard, in case OBJ is out.
Reed got banged up as well, though he did return
if you only need 8 go with Shep, he is the more reliable option
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Tyler Eifert is dealing with back and knee injuries which have put his Week 3 status in doubt.
Even through his dreadful start, Eifert owners could at least take solace in the oft-injured tight end's health, but that is no longer the case. Going up against a Packers defense which has shut down Jimmy Graham and Austin Hooper to open the season, Eifert will just be a touchdown dart throw even if he is active this week.
Kelce
Olsen(hurt)
Reed(hurt)
Graham(hurt)
Eifert(hurt)
Same goes for Gronk. But Gronk is 2x the talent (at least) so someone's going to gamble he stays healthy or at least is available fantasy playoff time!

Olsen(hurt)
Reed(hurt)

Glad so far that I was targeting Ertz a lot. Unfortunately, I had Graham/Reed as my targets in the 5th and have one of them on about a third of my teams
The conundrum is: here I am a Giants fan routing for my team's best player to either not play or if he does play, not play very well. This is where fantasy football can suck. How do you like them apples?

If it's PPR, you should win going away only needing 16 with both those guys left.
Golden Tate, on the other hand, caught 8 balls for 122, buoyed by a 67 yard completion in last year's game.
Eli against the Lions last year: 20-28, 201, 2 TDs - 0 INTs.
These are mostly the same two teams this year. The safer play is, unbelievably, is playing Eli and Tate. I feel like that's hedging a bit. So if you really want to go for it, I'd go Eli and Shepard, and hope for a big night with that connection. If you need a lot of points to win, that's how I'd play it.

MP - make sure you get Collins in your lineup tonight, as I'm sure you've seen that Goodson is out for tonight's game.
Thank you

I've got Wilson in my two leagues as well, and I'm concerned. It doesn't look like the Seahawks play against many average or below-average lines this year, though hopefully a feast against the Colts in week 4 will spark a turnaround.

Henry because he's the starting RB for the Titans.
Really need Eifert to stay healthy. He would have had a nice game if he caught that TD. He's more than TD or bust imo.
I have Fleener is he a fine alternative? Austin Hooper avail too.
Jermaine Kearse
JJ Nelson
Marquise Lee
Rashard Higgins
Higgins lookin like an out of nowhere waiver wire guy with Coleman done and Britt benched.

I guess Beckham losing 9 fumbles isn't out of the question?
Hopefully for all of us it's six extra points.
