Hebrew school for the Giants / Vikings playoff game in '94.. i was so excited.
Now I complain about going to Sunday night / Monday night / Thursday night games because of the traffic and waking up for work the next day.. Thanks for sharing
I brought my 8 year old son to his first game this summer against the Jets in pre-season. He also loves OBJ, has his jersey but isn't really into watching football on Sundays. I figured let me try and bring him to a game, preseason is cheaper if he doesn't like it we leave at half time. He absolutely loved it! Our seats are right next to the tunnel the players come out of in the corner of the end zone. He was getting high fives as they were going on the field. He got a signed 8x10 of Dwayne Harris from someone sitting next to us. Didn't want to leave when the scrubs came out to play in the 3rd quarter. Didn't stop asking questions about the plays or the rules. Now doesn't stop asking me to take him to another game. It feels good to be able to share my passion with him. Proud daddy moment right there!
I am a season ticket holder, and my son has never shown any interest in football at all. Maybe in time, he will come around, but not an inkling of wanting to go, even though I have tried to bribe him. We live in NH so it is a long day with a lot of travel. Here's hoping my fortunes will change.

Seriously great video!
I think we forget how big this stuff can be when we were young.
Good on his Mom's boss. He must feel great.
