Starting middle LB B.J. Goodson is OUT w/leg injury, per sources. Big loss. Had 18 tackles in opener. Calvin Munson expected to start. Link - ( New Window )
that it is not JT Thomas. I know he took a big pay cut but a veteran like that with injury concerns should be the 1st man up at all 3 spots - or at least WILL and MIKE.
If I recall correctly, so was Uani' Unga. Greg Jones had his moments in preseason too, as did Spencer Paysinger and others. Then the games started counting.
The only reasonable expectation for Munson - if he sees substantial action - is that he will get manhandled, exploited and exposed. Any result better than that will be a pleasant surprise.
He was a tackling machine and a tough guy in Pre-Season, but this may just kick start the Detroit running game. He will most certainly be exploited, hopefully Kennard and Casillas are on their games tonight.

The strength of the Giants run defense, was never the LBs. You should know that.
Exactly.

Dottino suggested this this morning on WFAN but with Adams playing safety
It's supposedly a shin injury.
Munson sucks.. Unga 2.0
Where's JT Thomas to step up when needed?
Bilal Powell ran by Munson like he was standing still
Dottino said that earlier today at 10:55 am on wfan
