tonight and im sure there will be a lot of douchey ppl out there
what type of environment do you want?
house of que is on sinatra drive and pretty big with nice TVs. I would avoid wicked wolf. There is a new spot called the Ultra Bar (HUB) that I havent been to that espn radio and the like go to. not sure how it is
The bars down by the water tonight are bound to be stupid crowded.
Better off heading toward Washington Street or even a little bit further west and finding a place a little less hectic. (I'm assuming you want to avoid idiots and be able to have at least some semblance of decorum while you watch...)
My wife and I moved out of Hoboken a few years ago, so I'm sure there has been some turnover in the specific bars that are good for the game, but a few suggestions:
8th Street Tavern - total dive, but tons of TVs, usually not crowded, and the staff was always down to earth and cool. (Although as I recall this place used to be closed on Mondays)
Zack's - more of a restaurant than a bar, but I always enjoyed watching a game here because it was very relaxed and the food is good. If you haven't eaten dinner yet, the Stuffed Chicken is fucking good.
Finnegans Pub - 8th and Willow
Court Street
Louise & Jerry's - total hole in the wall. Can be hit or miss, butnisually kot crowded and some of the most down-to-earth bartenders Hoboken has to offer
You can always just walk up and down Washington and stumble into the place that looks like the best situation for you right before gametime.
I personally like going to Biggie's by the Path. It doesn't have the same "bro" factor as One Republic, Wicked Wolf or Texas Arizona. I've never gone there to watch Giants games (I watch all the other games there) and they have some of my favorite wings anywhere. It's crunch breaded shell-- typically I'm not a fan of breaded style wings, either. Overall, I think they have the best typical bar food in town with a lot of great items on the seafood end of things.
Otherwise, House of Que is interesting. I think their brisket is poor and the ribs are decent but they have a tremendous smoked chicken. I've never gone there for games, though. They have a lot of TVs by the bar.
There are some more low key bar restaurants like Court Street, O'Nieal's (Awesome burger), Elysian (great food) but there TVs are not up to snuff in my opinion.
Relaxed atmosphere, excellent food, great bartenders - Kevin especially.
Anywhere by the train station or on Washington south of 4th street will be nuts.
Prior poster was spot on about Zack's and Louise and Jerry's. Zack's is great, but definitely more of a restaurant. Nag's Head is a good spot to watch a game.
Ha! If you want a non-crowded bar, this is your choice. Random mid-level musicians stopping in is always a possibility( Billy Milano still hanging there?).
Texas Arizona will probably be at capacity, ditto Black Bear.
I'd consider the Village Pourhouse. It's close, only a few blocks away, tons of tv, a little off the beaten path. Used to be Little Town. Village Pourhouse - ( New Window )

Any other suggestions?
get anywhere a little early for a seat at the bar. all places should have the sound on regardless
