With this coach and this offensive system?
This OL?
An aging, almost done QB. He's going to have to suffer through rookie QB issues soon in the prime of his career if he stays...
This offense is broken. You cant ignore it. Changes need to be made and it starts with the oline. If we lose next week the season is OVER. It sucks to say but its time to hit the panic button.
Fans who dont get on his case for showing passion. They get on the qb for not showing fire and then get on beckham for having fire. He was the only one that looked like he gave a shit out there. Everyone else looked dead
Beckham is our best player on offense by a large margin. You have to pay him - and the FT essentially encourages him to stay (provided we're willing to pay him market rate) or risk getting two guaranteed years and have a potential injury derail further paydays.
Getting another QB in line is going to happen, regardless of what OBJ does - so might as well keep him here while we try to pull off a transition successfully.

Maybe we can trade him to acquire picks to acquire that franchise QB. I doubt people would give up that much for him, but after seeing what Brandon Cooks got, it should be an option on the table if we go for total rebuild.
a DT, held out, and could have held out longer. Beckham will sit out a season and still be rich, and still come back as one of the best in the league. Giants considering a 5th year option? See how fast his ass sits the fuck out for a season.
Think about what a coach and QB like Belichick and Brady would do with Beckham.
Or, really, any competent offensive coach - something we are totally lacking on this team.
The timing doesn't work.
