Giants @ Eagles...season on the line?

SFGFNCGiantsFan : 9/18/2017 11:40 pm
1 PM EST start six days from now. Every other NFC East team is 1-1. Going 0-3, 0-2 in the division, might mean a death knell.

This is a must win.

Maybe 150 total yards in the game. 8-9 sacks.
It's over

Don't kid yourselves otherwise

No chance vs Philly. None.
Giants would be better off forfeiting..i know they can't
32_Razor : 9/18/2017 11:43 pm : link
but they should play 3rd stringers against philly.

This is going to be a massacre
We are not beating the Eagles
The_Boss : 9/18/2017 11:43 pm : link

We are cooked.

The season was on the line tonight.

I don't think they are going to win a game until November.

Heard that.
I was surprised.
He's been at it all year going back to the combine.
Depends on the rest of the

division. The Giants suck right now. 2-1 vs. 0-3 can be made up. They need to play better.
Eli better increase his insurance before

Next week!
0-3....is how I see it
Fishmanjim57 : 9/18/2017 11:48 pm : link
This team is showing us nothing. Maybe they'll finally get rid of Reese!
Well a ton of you said tonight wasn't a must win
Sean : 9/18/2017 11:49 pm : link
is next week, or are we still good either way?

They'll clean house if this is a 4/5 win campaign.

That was a laughable notion all week. I'm sure by Friday, they'll be convinced somehow the team has a shot on Sunday in Philly. Facts are we are 0-3 but we don't know it yet until Sunday at around 4:15. And at 0-3 with a ton of legit teams on the schedule yet to play, our season is over.

Sadly, nobody will be held accountable.
The season is over! This offense has managed 13 points in two games!
SterlingArcher : 9/18/2017 11:59 pm : link
What did you see tonight that would lead you to believe the Giants could win any game this year! Next week it is the shegals whose defense is better than the one we saw tonight, it will be another no contest!

Haha we have to play on the road in TB the next week then follow it up with Denver, San Diego ( who we never beat) and Seahawks... Wow we could easily start 0-7 Or 1-6... unbelievable... I honestly thought we had a shot at a Super Bowl.
Eli gets crushed vs the Eagles
WillVAB : 9/19/2017 12:01 am : link
May be the week the streak comes to an end. Then the haters will see what it's like to have trash at QB.
Saying they have no chance against Philly
joeinpa : 9/19/2017 12:04 am : link
is ridiculous. It's professional football, the Giants have played two bad games yes, but have you never seen a team turn it's season around.

Have you never seen a team where there seems to be no answer, find the answer. Fans can never seem to relate to anything other than the last thing they saw.

They can beat Philly next week, all it takes is a few good plays. A few plays can change the momentum of a game, and a season.

I think they beat Philly.
The defense needs
St. Jimmy : 9/19/2017 12:07 am : link
to have win the game. Wentz will give you the ball if you let him. No pick six from Eli would also help.

They have no chance.
Can't run the ball, can't pass protect,
Doomster : 9/19/2017 12:19 am : link
can't run routes long enough to get first downs, can't catch passes, can't score.....

Yet they will beat Philly?

They had to win this game.....and the only light at the end of the tunnel, is another train headed straight at them, out of Philadelphia....this is embarrassing to be a Giant fan right now...
No, season's over
Gregorio : 9/19/2017 12:21 am : link
and not because of the 0-2 record. From sub-par Oline talent, to no real running backs, this team is in trouble. 8 straight games where the team hasn't score more than 20 points, shows it is not just this season's problem.

A win in the first meeting with Philly ==> playoff berth;
A loss ==> no playoff.

I think that correlation will hold true again this year, except there is no suspension which way it is.
at this rate....
BillKo : 9/19/2017 2:52 am : link
we are looking at a 5-6 win team, tops. If the D doesn't win us a few, could be 3 or 4 wins.

We can't run the ball at all, and our pass pro blows.

Everyone compares this to 2003???

This has 2013 written all over it, and I say there's a chance Eli isn't so lucky to get injured in Game 16 like he did that year.

I'm pretty sure the team already...
M.S. : 9/19/2017 5:15 am : link

...stepped over the line.

Philly will just be the formal announcement.
It may seem trivial but

I'm concerned after a great showing of Giants fans in Philly last December, given the 0-2 start it is going to be void of any Giants fans especially with it being an Iggles home opener.
I'm having a hard time right now believing the Giants will

beat the Eagles - or win any of the next 6 games for that matter
