Time for McAdoo to give up playcalling duties.

many of us have felt this way going back to last season. he should have given it up in the off season and figured it out!

McAdoo will throw away the season before swallowing his pride like that.

If you gave the same exact offense to Bill Belichick or an OC like Mike McCoy, does anyone seriously think this team would go 8 games without scoring 20 points?

Doubt it happens any time soon, unless Mara/Tisch forces it. Ben's a stubborn, control freak. I doubt he gives it up without being forced to.

Eli leads the league in third down completions, that don't result in first downs.....

Last week, it took 3 completions to get a first down....

Tonight we completed passes on third and fourth down, and still did not get a first down.....

How can something like this happen, week after week? It's freakin' coaching, that let's this happen continuously....

Bombed in Tampa before McAdoo scraped him up off the unemployment line. Reese did what he's done time and time again, he got out smarted when he thought McAdoo was going to leave for another HC (I think it was Philly) so he jumped the shark and hired him first. He got out smarted when he wanted the linebacker Floyd in the draft two years ago and he outsmarted himself when he drafted Flowers even though all the scouting reports said he has major technique issues. That's not a #9 pick!!!

At least, it won't if the linemen don't block and the receivers don't catch.

be a good move symbolically. Let the team know he's at least partly at fault for the poor offensive play. And WCO experience or not, how much worse can the O be with Sullivan calling the plays.

It was OK, they went 7-9 but it was all Doug Martin and Vincent Jackson that year.

And I was saying this to some old BBIers on Facebook, when have you seen McAdoo get involved in the game other than calling plays? He never argues bad callS. He never argues when calls are NOT called. You never see him giving players hell for bonehead plays or consistent bad play.

His lack of effort to conserve time before the FG attempt to end the half and to accept a 10 point deficit going into the half is a loser mentality. Say what you want about Doug Pederson missing on 2/3 4th downs against us, but at least he was trying to win.

I hate his demeanor, I hate his passiveness, I hate his hair. He sucks. He reminds me of Jim Caldwell.

Who cares about play calling.

no pass pro gives you two options:

1. pass quick/short and then wrs have to run YACs, which, lacking a real run/pass game gets your WRs -killed-. See Becks, preseason.

2. chuck and duck long. which gets your QB killed, or leads to INTs and INCs.

Why does McAdoo think he's good at play calling? The Giants offense last year was historically bad. There were a couple of teams below the Giants in offensive production but they were dumpster fire franchises without QB or superstar OBJ. McAdoo is a complete failure as a play caller. Yet, he refuses to turn over the calls. Heck, the HC can always override a call.
