No disrespect to all the Eli supporters, but Eli's done. He can't get it done that's the bottom line. A change is needed IMHO. I'm not a Gino lover in any shape or form but at least he's mobile.
hurt. The Captain will go down with the ship. It would show desperation and Ben certainly isn't up to that especially with every game Eli plays he's setting or going for a record. Of course this year it could be number of sacks or picks.
If you feel the current issues are on him. I don’t believe any QB in the league can be successful playing behind this O-line in it’s current state.
And in addition the one knock I had on Eli going into this games was he left a lot of plays on the field playing scared. He did not do that last night he took hits to extend the plays and damn near got his head taken off.
the defense is very good, but with an offense going 3 and out constantly you can't win. at least geno can avoid a few sacks and run for a couple first downs. obviously eli is the better QB, but with this shoddy offense he might be the better option. just don't let him throw it more than 15-20 times per game.
If we go into complete tank mode. Hey it's worked for the 76'ers. Time to start lining up those early draft picks.
I don't know why we stay with Marshall. Engram serves the same purpose and he's really not a tight end. We should split him out wide and move him in the backfield.

If,and only if, the Giants go into a complete tank mode,Webb would be the QB. I'm not so sure McAdoo wouldn't welcome this scenario.Eli's not HIS QB & the fast forwarding development of Webb into McAdoo's offense doesn't seem far fetched if the season goes in the tank!
will probably only come in if eli gets injured or if it's a blowout. the way things are going, both are likely, perhaps even in the lions den that is the Linc.
He's more mobile, and either equal or better in acuracy on short throws. Both are prone to interceptions. Eli is far better at the long throws, but this line doesn't permit them.
Since the Giants aren't likely to win much more with Geno, the circus of benching Eli, probably isn't worth it.
But those who think Geno doesn't have something to offer aren't being honest about Eli's current level of production.
This is rediculous. Anyone watching that game could see the crap Â
How can it be more of a shit show than it is now? Geno can move outside the pocket and make more plays than Eli, it's that simple. As for throwing more INTs, people have short term memories with Eli. That pick to Engram was atrocious and Eli's had plenty of 3 and 4 INT days. He need the perfect O-Line to be good and we don't have that. Time to see what Geno's got.
If we bring in someone else its Webb, who has a chance to be the Â
are not going to be satisfied until you run the greatest QB in the history of this franchise out of town.
You already did it to our HOF coach. How's that working out?
how many other teams offered our HOF coach a head coaching job after he was fired? the time was right for coughlin to go, and soon, the time will be right for eli to move on. he's at the age where most QBs start to decline due to both the physical and mental toll of a tough game.

I felt Eli delivered the ball in the 2nd half. Wasn't he also 6/6 on the TD drive?
At any rate, I do think you will get your wish as I don't know how Eli stays uninjured with this OL play. I was wincing every time Eli was getting drilled into the ground.

You don't think that had to do more with his age? Far less coaches have gotten jobs after being fired.
but have you seen him under pressure before? He is absolutely brutal.
And if you watch the replay of Eli's INT last night, it wasn't that bad a throw, basically came in at Engram's head, but he tried to one-hand it. Either way, Geno is only the answer if the question is, "Do we want to suck more?"

whether it was his age, decision making or slow adaptability to the new CBA rules, if he still "had it" I'm sure another team would have hired him as a coach. indeed, he did get a few first interviews but no bites.
That said, it's not happening.
Bring in Geno and THEN you've REALLY got something.
Holy crap.

Don't know. 0-2 is 0-2. Pretty sure Geno could lose us these next two games just as easily as Eli.

And Eli (or any quarterback) can't do much about WRs running 3rd and 4th down routes a yard or two shy of the first-down marker.
But Geno is not the solution.

This. It's ridiculous. Get beyond the yardsticks.

Holy shite...another brainless wonder...

unless he dropped it because Eli threw it?

That was painful.
