"I don't think I'm pressing. I actually think I'm doing a good job. "
Bueller?
Anyone?
Anyone?
It was Marshall.....that drop was huge.....the other half hearted attempt at a catch was sad....
And the long pass in the endzone..... he has his man beat, and attempts to make a basket catch.....a guy with his experience, should have adjusted to the ball and placed his body between him and the defender, to catch the pass with outstretched arms, where only he can catch it.....the only way the defender gets to the ball is to go through Marshall and create PI.....
You expect the "little things", from a veteran receiver like Marshall....we were expecting the second coming of Moss when he joined the Pats, instead, it looks like we got Ow-cho Marshall instead...
You re post is misleading
I think that's what happens when you don't involve him in two games.
"That was the moment. That was the biggest play of the game. I let my team down, I got an opportunity to make a big play and change the momentum and I lost it. ... it was a perfect pass. I beat the guy really bad at the line of scrimmage, knew the ball was coming, saw the ball, at the last second lost it in the light and then I picked it back up and just dropped it. Just dropped it. Let the team down. That can't happen. When you get an opportunity in a big game like this, in that situation when you're down and you got an opportunity to go down and score and tie up the game, that can't happen."
Why was Beckham used so sparingly? Do they want to be sure that he's 100 percent for the rest of the season when they're playing out the string on the way to a 7-9 record?
Well, yes, I should have made that catch, and maybe a couple others, but I know I am doing a good gob out there...Marshall, time for a reality check.....

You're reading way too much into it. He's a professional athlete, not pundit. He copped to blowing the play, and tried to say it wasn't because he was pressing. Even if his wording was a bit clumsy, he was trying to say the right thing.
You, on the other hand, knew what he was trying to say, but attempted to misrepresent it anyway. Go pat yourself on the back.
