This reminds of 2009 when one player absolutely killed us. Well it was probably more than that but one player just stuck out like a sore thumb. I just had to vent. Work is going to suck today.
CC Brown sucked more, but Flowers I think is a bigger disappointment. Flowers can still be a good starting guard for this team. Brown was never going to do that.
in the draft. Why is this even a discussion? Flowers is worse than when he started...awful...is the only reason he is in the lineup because we don't have anyone else? Surely, John Mara must be reaming Reese out today...I would certainly if I was him...behind closed doors of course but, my God, this OL is worse than I thought it would be.
He had one year of film on the guy, to see how bad his technique was.....the excuse here was, this guy is playing on a bad ankle....once he is healed, he will be a stud...
Well ankle was healed last season, and Solari never did anything to correct what he had a year of film on...all last season, it was the same mistakes as the year before.....
So now it's another year.....if the guy can't be coached, than what do you do? Still trot him out there, and say,"Hey, Ereck, just do the best you can!"
In preseason and practice, we heard how OV was taking him to school....nothing had really changed.....the time to shuffle the OL, was in OTA's and preseason....it may be too late now....That's on you Mr. Solari....If you felt you did not have the horses with this OL, you should have attempted some alternatives.....instead, you stood pat.....
What angers me is he keeps doing the same shit... Â
like dropping his head, keeping his hands low etc. and he still remains in the lineup. And the Giants are trying to tell us how hard he worked this off season to get better. Really...what was he working on, his Masters on how to fuck up even worse than he messed up before?
and I'm fairly confident that Solari has worked with him extensively on that. He just doesn't get it and dropping his head is an easy way to get beat. Once he gets beat, he panics and technique goes out the window, he reverts back to poor technique. He wasn't the only one last night, but he was probably the biggest culprit.
..
..
Its impossible to watch this team sober.
He also drops his head and looks at the ground....why does he do that?!?!
