Running the ball late in the game

Archer : 9/19/2017 8:59 am
I do not understand McAdoo's insistence in attempting to run the ball in the fourth quarter.
The Giants are down and have to score at least twice. McAdoo called inside running plays and draws. These plays netted less than 2 yards per play and took valuable time off the clock. It put Manning in 2nd and 3rd and long positions.

In addition McAdoo will never attempt to convert a 3rd and long. You know that he will run a draw.

The play calling is so conservative that it appears that McAdoo is playing not to lose rather than attempting to win.
Why does this team have no sense of urgency when they are down?

Even when they are losing they take 30 seconds off the clock every play. Why didnt they call time out in the first half with about a minute to go when they were losing? Every other team does. And then down 2 scores they run the ball to take another minute off the clock. Mind boggling

I am sure that was Eli audible

in past when Eli had a decent running game it might be worth

a draw in that situation can go for big yards and you keep defense honest
but with this OL forget it
He said in the press conference that

"he wanted to stay committed to the run".

Eli audibled into 3 terrible runs

in this game. I am also tired of him making 50 adjustments at the line that produce zero results.

Call the play, Hike the f*cking ball. His clock mgmt at the goal line should have him benched. Its at least the 50th time he has done so in the last decade.

On two different plays last night, watch the replay, you can hear RHETT ELLISON OUR NEWEST FOCKEN PLAYER!! screaming CLOCK CLOCK!! to Eli.
