had a back handed slap at that crew last night. He said they had called 25 penalties last week and were well on their way to reaching that number again. Can't remember when it was, but it was after another bad (or questionable) call.....

Not sure if this was the play you're talking about but he didn't like the hold call on Jones on the 1st and goal play.
What was Engram actually flagged for? They didn't show him doing anything but dancing a little bit after his TD on ESPN. Very odd call and they never seemed to say what he did.
sucked at calling out things. Gerry Austin wanted the fumble by Eli to stand. Not sure what these refs in the booth add.
Gruden also didn't like one of the holding calls on detroit, but he said that before the replay showed the Lion throw the Giant to the ground.
Jones held. The bigger gripe is why it was called then - that goalline block happens all the time. Meanwhile, I think JPP drew one flag and he was held nearly every play.
It isn't the flags that are unwarranted - it is the suspicious timing of them.
then compounded by the kickoff out of bounds costing 30 yards in field position they couldn't afford to surrender. Stupid.
Obviously stupid, but we did get the ball right back on a TO only to have Eli give it right back.
Got to clean up the stupid either way, otherwise we'll get bitten on the arse when it can be least afforded. In that instance it didn't get us, but chances are it will effing kill us at some point.
