So how do we match-up vs. Philadelphia?

Because after watching their D the past two weeks they will definitely wreck the game for our O. I am worried Eli doesn't make it out of the game in one piece. Their D line and LB's can really get after the QB.

Same as we did last season. its not a strength for them. Problem is their strengths match up perfectly against our weakness, and can obviously neutralize the advantage we have in the passing game.

Part of me thinks this is the point where they rally together and make their stand. It'd be the logical place to do it. Sort of like Washington week 3 in 2007.

But it's been so hard for us to win in that place and I'm legit terrified for Eli's well being in this one. If they continue to put Flowers out there on an island it'll be a disaster. But there is an avenue if they scheme it up right and they get healthy on defense, they can pull it out. But admittedly it's a small chance.

take the ball and move down the field efficiantly score, get a stop, get the ball back score again. Try playing with a lead just see how it feels

Then you're thinking Wentz is capable of some game changing turnovers and our defense should control their offense. Their secondary sucks, so maybe all it takes is hitting on a few big plays to Beckham and Engram for the win.

This. Wentz has been lucky rather than good.

to 10 to 13 points. The only salvation the Giants have is to play exceptional defense. With Jenkins back that should help.

Couldn't be worse . The only thing they have going for them is that it's a 1 o'clock start. 0-3. 0-2 in the division. 0-3 in the conference against three teams with bona fide playoff aspirations. They are down on the tie-breakers. With a trip to Tampa in the hole.

We may have a chance if the defense pitches a shutout. Even that might not be enough,

at all. This is going to be a bloodbath.

The Cowboy's secondary was supposed to be horrible, too, and we did squat against them. We can't run the ball, and can't keep out a 4 man rush. If we run the same offense we ran Monday, Eli may not make it out alive.

I think we should just go 2 TE, FB with Darkwa, and leave OBJ as the single WR on the outside, and run him deep every play. We can try to run out of that formation, and give our tackles some help. Any passes would be short to the TE's, but we should have a 70-30 run heavy ratio.

Not pretty, but at least we give Eli a shot of surviving this game.

We all are miserable off 2 weeks but if your serious that's a lot of coin to put - they aren't exactly the greatest show on turf. G men have a great defense & will keep this game close. Unless you see the eagles forcing 3-4 turnovers I don't see the blowout others have already penciled in.

The lousy way the Giants have played so far, and the fact that Philadelphia has owned the Giants over the past several seasons, this game will be a complete disaster.
Philadelphia will probably score somewhere in the 40's, while the Giants might be able to achieve a few field goals.
I'm worried that Eli may have a season ending (perhaps career ending) injury during this game.

D plays well but the offense puts them in horrible positions. 20-13 Eagles. Game set match on season

Shortly thereafter we start reading anonymous NYG defenders saying stuff like "We're doing our job, what about the other guys?"

While the offense is the problem, can't really call the defense "great" at this point, very good yes.

They can get to the QB. It's going to be brutal.

I watched the Iggles in Arrowhead last week where Wentz and company took a terrific Chiefs team all the way to the last play of the game. It was a whale of a football game with the Iggles making plays in all phases of the game in one of the hardest places to play in the NFL against a very well coached team that had just dismantled the Pats. I honestly don't see any way the Giants beat Philly. I'm very worried about Eli getting killed by the Philly D line. Nightmare match up for Giants. Nightmare.

NUMBER 1 -

Practice this week, full on with no O guards or O tackles...just Richburg, the backs and receivers....and have our defense come at them full tilt. All week, all day every day, and sadly I am not even kidding...

NUMBER 2 -

Study what KC did against the Eagles, play for play, and try as much as possible to emulate their game plan...

Do these 2 things and the Giants lose anyway. Not like whatever McAdoo has up his sleeve will work anyway -
