of NFLPA. Unanimously. I'm not going to pretend I know nearly enough about the ins and outs of the CBA. The one thing apparent is it appears the players are getting screwed as it currently is written. Not sure where the blame should go, but shouldn't it start at the top? Unless the players honestly think this guy did a good job, how does this happen?

Compared to other pro athletes, I'd say it's pretty safe to assume that football players are paid far less when compared to revenue. And that's despite playing a sport that's more risky from a health perspective and has much shorter career durations.
The owners will take in another trillion dollars so EVERYBODY WINS !!

More players is certainly a factor, but the number of games isn't really relevant since it doesn't impact their ability to make money the way most do - TV rights.

There are a lot of factors, but the bottom line is the NBAPA did a much better job of negotiating than the NFLPA did. That's the reason salaries jumped as much as they did, something the NBA certainly didn't want.
